On 4H, switch off the traction. Jimny will deliver the magic. On the slippery tracks even if it not move you can use the 4L. But before that try switch on the Hill Decent/ Accent. BDW, good job.
Thanks for stopping by. I think the video may not have done justice to some tricky parts of the road and the track. However, stick around for more fun offroad videos in the future. 🙌
Hi there, no, I have not changed or upgraded the tyres yet. I was tempted to do that, but I feel the default tyres are more than enough. They come with a M+S (mud and snow) rating and that works fine. Unless you want to enhance the look of the vehicle with wider tyres, I think the default ones should do the job with no issues. 😊
True, It was my first time and 2H was enough for the most part. I had to engage 4H on a steep incline that was muddy and slippery. I am looking for places that will allow for a more extreme experience.
I'm sorry if I did not understand the question correctly, but shifting from 2H to 4H and vice-versa is shift on fly, which means you should be able to engage and disenage 4H, while driving within limited speed. For 4L, you will need to be stationary, either in neutral or Drive and then engage. It's the same process when moving out of 4L.
Ideally you should stop and press the clutch (Manual) for smoother transition, but you are correct. 2H to 4H and back is shift on the fly for upto 100 kmph. To go 4L from 4H and back the vehicle needs to be stationary and in neutral with the clutch pedal pressed (Manual). For Automatic you need to be in neutral or park.
Hey! 👋 I got the tail lights and a few other accessories from Chandigarh sector 28's motor market. I made a video of the accessories here - ruclips.net/video/o84VVGX8wMY/видео.html The tail lights were for ₹5800.

I'm using a Sansui unit, front and rear, FHD. Nexa only offers front recording and is expensive. I got this installed from a local shop where I purchased it. I'll try and get the video.
I can see you’re not a Jimny fan and I respect that. It was off-roading for me and for my vehicle. I’m afraid I didn’t understand the context. However, thanks for stopping by.
@@weekendsafarnama The context is that every Traveller to Gurugram covers 100x more difficult terrain than what you chose for this video. It's an insult for a 4x4. This terrain is a job for Maruti 800 and Alto, even Tata Nano can easily drive on this terrain....
Haha, I understand, but to each their own. I never claimed it isn't a track for other vehicles. For sure a Maruti 800 would go there. I took my Jimny during rain and slush, and I know how difficult the track is/was. It was my first 4x4 experience and I'm sure I'll have more difficult tracks to experience soon. ✌️
@@weekendsafarnama Have you driven to Gurugram in Rains? Harayana Roadways is the only vehicle which passes through flooded underpass without fearing and misjudging the depth of water. And 50 meters left and right of Highway and Golf Course road is slush and mud only. Which is why no1 is buying Sedans...
I completely get that and no, I haven't driven in Gurugram rains, but again, Himachal rains aren't fun either. I live here and I know the terrain, the roads and the tracks during the rainy season.

Hi there, thanks for stopping by. I appreciate the feedback. Glad you liked the video. Also, great suggestion. I'll give it a try for sure. 🙂
@@weekendsafarnama you are most welcome🙂
Thank you so much. ❤️
What an experience, when the vehicle started skidding, I had my heart on my sleeve 😅
Haha, it was tricky, but we managed to survive our first real off-road session. 💪 Many more sessions to come.
Nice video but not such a bad road . As you know in our Himachal such roads are common.

Very well explained the 4x4 👌

I feel sorry for hanumanji🙏🏾 dangling on rear view mirror😂😂😂😂
Haha, apologies for that. I have made some changes so that it doesn't happen in the future. 😅
Once you apply 4 h or 4l does it require you to put it on d mode or it just drive park or nutral mode??? Please clarify

4H you need to stop? Thought manual says you can do it anytime below speed below 100 mph.

Does it come with auto hill hold assist?
It does. It comes with auto hill hold and also offers hill descent .

It's hooked up to the fuse box.

MT vs AT. What you think?
Apologies as I didn’t understand the context. Mine’s an AT.

I'd say AT. I have only tried the AT.
AT for convenience.....and easy off roading
Nicely put. AT for convenience and easy offroading is the best choice.
I thought Sohail Khan came to explain for an instance.
Haha 😂
I'm assuming this is a compliment. I'm taking this as a compliment 😁
2H is not enough on this track.. Bcz road looks ok not that bad.
You mean 2H is enough?
I only used 4H once.
