I HOPE that they don't bully GM for it because that's just nasty work 😬I will admit, I didn't like the dialogue when he said that, but it hasn't made me write him off...just yet. It's going to take a lot to get me to that point with him, so I watch cautiously their interactions. Still here for their growing friendship though ☺

I think I missed the part where Gio said he cared about Trina. People calm down with it's too early for Gio to say he cares about her when he didn't say anything like that. All I heard from his mouth " He likes seeing that Trina's looking out for Joss" then proceed to saying that he's glad she cares about her friends as much as they care about her. Do I think Gio interested in Trina, of course he is. I was a fan of Trina first then Sprina but unfortunately NAC isn't reprising the role, so if pairing Gio with Trina means I get to see her on my screen_I'll take it.

I think Gio is DEFINITELY interested in Trina as well, despite the ambiguity GH is purposely throwing about.
Even though he looks like a lame surfer- dude; Gio seems very perceptive to me. With him being the new guy in town, naturally he's feeling people out trying to get a read on them to see what they're about.
So with this new information he's received from Joss regarding Trina, he's being compassionate & trying to delicately handle a sensitive situation WITHOUT trying to 1.) Scare Trina off by saying/doing the wrong thing... As he unintentionally did during their first meeting....
and 2.) Not come off like he's trying to take advantage of her or her situation. (Funny how they alluded to something similar with Sonny - that Gio doesn't want to take advantage of HIM, either). If this scenario seems rather familiar; remember how Spencer didn't want to take advantage of Trina in the Art Gallery, the time Trina was upset about finding out about who her Biological Father. 🤔😕
I honestly think that GH is trying to do their version of MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING with "TRIO"....

Let's face it... This concept ain't original, but it's cute & effective.
But, I do enjoy watching Trina & Gio - a.k.a "TRIO" onscreen together.
They have a natural, subtle chemistry that will intensify as their friendship progresses.

Desma, I have the uneasy feeling that GIO (lame surfer dude) could be Esme's Foster brother, and he is out to avenge Esme's death and her hatred of Trina & Joss. GIO does it have any parents. If he does, who in the heck were they? Gio seems to avoid Dex at all costs. Y'all be killing me with y'all descriptions of the characters: 'Malibu Ken' (Cates), and now ' lame surfer dude' (Gio). 🙃 tah tah
@@desmawalker556You are right Joss really wants Gio but Gio especially with the information he got from Joss has his eyes set on Trina n he told Joss he will ve careful with what he tells Trina meaning he is now trying to woo her but step by step getting to know her more n won't take advantage of her vulnerability n he knows she's still probably grieving so will wait for the right time as for Jos n Dex we will see how it goes but Gio definitely has his eyes on Trina n that last part just made me see that
@@TDrama-Queen I actually adore Gio and think he's quite handsome. I just used that description based off what someone might reference him to as far as a first impression aspect.
As far as him having devious motives, GH is making it clear that he doesn't have any.... By 1.)Establishing the fact that he DOESN'T want to take advantage of Sonny; and 2.) He DOESN'T want to take advantage of Trina's emotional state - But, he DOES have a definite attraction towards her. Since Joss explained the situation that Trina's going through, he's aware of the delicate nature he'll have to undertake in the process of getting to know her.
That, to me, doesn't spell out somebody who's out to get someone. Now, I don't know if you've heard on these Soap Opera Streets that there's talk of WHO is Gio's Daddy ??? 😕🤔 The possibilities have been narrowed down to either Jason or Drew. Now, if you go back and look at Old Footage of Jason back when he was dating Keesha Ward & had long hair like Gio, you could say they DAMN NEAR look alike. OR you could go along with the theory that he's Drew's long lost son.... WHO KNOWS ???!!! 🤷
I brought all that up to say, that just like his predecessor Spencer Cassadine,
Gio Palmieri seems to have some "abandonment issues" regarding Daddy dearest - WHOMEVER that may be.
Again, I don't get a "Bad" vibe off of Gio, but I do get a sense that he's yearning for an emotional connection that doesn't get fulfilled outside of his music; and most likely that's how he and Trina will eventually "connect".... HER with Art & HIM with Music. Both being creative types. 😕🤔
I can't take Josslyn's gushy flirting with Dex. They've already been together the whole nine yards, it's too late for them to flirt. She's flirty with Gio, too. Trina isn't flirty with Gio, she's still in grief right now, but she's more inclined to end up with him than Joss is.
Also Joss needs to learn boundaries telling Trina's story wasn't hers to do so glad Gio called her out for being bossy n told her off about Trina not being fragile she's too much
Hey, Cyndis - "Ain't" she just like her mother? They always got to be all up in a man's face - whether they are involved with someone else. Joss seemed, in my humble opinion, to be discouraging Gio to pursue a relationship with Trina with that disparaging comment ' Trina is fragile". Joss, do you recall your behavior when Oscar passed away. Or, your confrontations with nosy Nina, the miniature mobster, pregnant Kristina and Nutty Nelle. Girl, shut your crazy, unhinged a__ up, and cease from casting aspersions on Trina. You're supposed to have her back! You ain't gone git none of GIO, so get the taste out of yo' face. 😩 tah tah

Gio said this is the second time you have ran interference for those two. Are we sure Gio likes Trina and not Joss? Trina certainly doesn't need to be in a relationship right now however it would be good to see her build a friendship with Gio. Also have her own story line again and not be a prop to Joss's storyline.
Hey, Butterliz - Gio's comment had me baffled. Is he keeping tabs on Josslyn? I also find it odd that GIO never attempts to interact with Dex. It appears, to me that GIO is gleaning all the information on Trina and Joss because he has done nefarious plan for the two of them. He's too chummy with each of them. A voice in my head tells me that Gio's face looks familiar. I think he was the man who entered Trina' and Spencer"s cabin in the cruise ship. That person abruptly entered the cabin without any explanation. Anywho, I will find time to go back and review my video. I agree with your assessment that Trina needs to build a friendship with Gio, first, and I believe she will. We also need to see Gio"s plan)scheme slowly evolve - whatever that may be. 🤔 tah tah

Wether he came in for joss , Trina, or whoever , I don’t believe it’s joss story to tell, it’s Trina story and to call her fragile to me was out of line, now upon my reading like I said before Gio himself said he for Trina , so please can we please just see how things turn out, and can we please allow Trina some happiness for a change let her shine and be happy, Also again I’m a sprina fan ❤ however we can not make nac come back if he chooses to do other things in his life, and in my opinion a recast it not the way to go, and I say this because. We have to get use to Gio a new face and I think Gio is very handsome and talented , now months go by then gh decides to bring back a recast Spencer then it’s another new face we have to get used to and it’s not going to have the same effect as the original Spencer, and in my opinion just let it be….

I didn't like the dialogue and I was disappointed in Thursday's episode, but I'm not going to write Gio off. Just going to be patient and just let the story unfold and let it ride

Trina is really Beautiful, She has the most glowing skin, Gio was just checking her out. Joss is trying to hard. Everytime they show Trina with Gio, Here comes Joss, I love seeing him play the violin. For Trina and Ava. Beautiful music. I really miss Spencer. Probably needed to take some time for himself. I just hope that writers want put him and Joss together. Even though some viewers might think. Him (Gio) Joss will make a great couple. Than him and Trina. But its so good to see Trina getting out more. Even though she grieving the loss of Spencer. Good to see her happy and smiling again. Maybe Gio can be a good listener for her to talk too. I'm also glad she getting support from her fans and costars. After she was getting hateful messages online. We love you Taby, Keep that beautiful smile. Like they used to say. Hey, Brenda - That was beautifully stated. It is a disgrace that Tabyana as to endure such bigotry as she hones her artistic craft. As you have indicated, Joss has her boo, DEX! Why is she all up in GIO"s face. (GIO is a trained violinist in real life). Although I do my miss my Spencer, I want Trina to pursue a relationship with Gio, and to put Joss in herbplace. Joss is channeling her mom, Carly's feminine wiles as far as being attracted to men. Trina needs to check her, asap. Joss is sending conflicting messages. She's cheesing when she's around Dex & GIO. She has to be the center of every man's attention in Port Charles. The same people who wanted Joss and Dex together now want Joss & Gio together. And, in my humble opinion, I think so because GIO seems to have a genuine interest in Trina, and people don't want him to fall for Trina. Look, it could be a lot of fun with the escapades of Joss & Dex/Trina & GIO. Ahhhh, the possibilities.....tah tah

I don't like the writing for Trina and yes, I wish she had more POV, show more of her grief and not be backburnered, but Trina can at least make a new friend in the meantime. I haven't written off Gio, so people just need to be patient and let the story unfold and let it ride
Why are people intentionally misrepresenting Gio just to hate on him? Odd. He has done nothing one way or another to be hated on at this point. People are intentionally misinterpreting his words just as an excuse to not like him.

Amen they certainly are and for what, NAC (Spencer) Had his chance on the show. But decided to explore other opportunities. Gio is the next actor. GH and writers chose. To me he is doing a pretty good job. Keep doing what your doing Gio.

Regarding Sam, I think she is really mad at Drew and if she is not she should be.
Hell, unless Drew told Sam off screen that he is running for Congress, she doesn't even know.
He is also changing his name to Quartermaine, is is Scout going to have to change her name to?
He spends more time with Willow and her kids than with Scout.
Once Carly goes off on Sam and makes her see reason, she will calm down and they will work together to help Jason.
Plus I really think that Jagger has gone rogue. I think hes been running his own operation using FBI sources.
Regarding Trina and Gio. I am sorry the writers have ruin it for me because of the way they introduced him.
In my opinion the first time they met it should if been more organic.

Re: Trina and Gio - you have to let the story unfold and let it ride. Don't write off Gio just yet. I'm cautiously watching their s/l as well, but unless Gio pull some funny business in regard to Trina, you would have to keep an open mind and let the story ride out
🎉Hey, Sabrina - Sam is angry at the world. She & Jason were once "hot stuff".as well as she & Sonny, Drew, Dante,the PCOD, the fire department, etc. She is a has been trying to make herself relevant. She has no beef with Carly - they're cut from the same cloth. Both have shared Drew, Sonny and Jason. It's a competition thang. The writers are feverishly attempting to insert her in anybody's storyline. As quiet as it's kept, she should have moved elsewhere when Dante suggested it. At the end of the day, she will cave and help Carly get Jason out of his dilemma As for Trio, no onHie can replace my Spencer. However, I want Trina and GIO to become friends and let it grow from there. Gio is as mysterious as an Agatha Christie Novel. He may be Esme's Foster brother from the orphanage. I even went as far by saying that GIO is Spencer or he is Spencer reincarnated. Oh, snap. I sound like the GH writers! tah tah

Hey, Nikki - I think that he would be in his early 30's, in the show. I wasn't watching GH back then. I read that the actor, Bryan Craig, will reprise his role as Morgan. I know that he died, but with GH's writing, they will COME up with something like Morgan had been frozen, and to help Sonny with the Pikeman hot mess, he was recently thawed. 🤔 tah tah
