A better method for catching pumpkinseed is putting a 2.5 inch z man slim swims soft plastic in a little Ned rig jig head. I caught a one pound pumpkinseed doing that

Slab Pumpkinseeds! Definitely the most beautiful freshwater fish there is.
I'd love to see a multi species catch and cook. Some creek chub, bluegill/pumpkinseed, catfish, crappie, walleye. Whatever bites. Make yourself a feast and let us know what the best one was

I caught a lb, and a lb a nd a quarter pumpkinseed the other day, the lber with a bare hook, and the big one by hand, they are really tame at this one beach. But anyway I couldn't believe it I've never caught one that was even worth eating I didnt think that got big like shellcrackers or redbreast.

You threw away at least 3 absolute top tier pumpkinseed without measuring them or getting a weight. Would have been nice to see but great catches. Anything over 8 inches is considered big for them. Some of those had to be 9-10 inchers for sure. Well done!
