If you're talking about ease of use, Steam Deck. If you're talking about raw power, the ROG ally But there is an OS for most systems called Bazzite, and it's basically steam decks OS but for their handhelds
The steam deck is not that much more powerful than a ps4 or xbox one but as a computer goes this is some pretty good power packed into a small machine. If you plan on hooking it up to a bigger display you will have to think about the resolution of said display. As far as I know the deck has a bit of trouble with displays over 1080p so if you were planning on hooking it up to a large tv it wouldn't really work. You can certainly try to push your luck and get a 32" 1440p monitor but again, not exactly recommended.
Yeah, when it comes to the steam deck, it's not the most powerful thing. But it's like having a portable PS4 Pro in your hand in terms of raw gameplay power. In terms of PC power, it's a good starting machine. It's a good mid-range machine. I guess you could say it good for the size of it. I really wish they would have 32 gigs of RAM in it.
I think for the price of machines, currently is a good buy. Now, unfortunately, it does have the issue of the only thing you can upgrade its storage because hardware is sold to the board. So yeah.
Thank yall i got a better understanding on how it is ima buy one , i got one more question , would it be worth it to get a egpu for it or just get a pc if i want the extra quality? i care about graphics more than fps
@ I would definitely say a full pc is a better option for that. I would say that the steam deck is really for people who want to get more portability out of their pc. You can get a decent pc for around the same price if you know where to look
That's awesome setup man
