    Hi Dawn,
I can only imagine what an adjustment it is for most to go from believing in "vegetarian is the way to go" to learning about eating animal protein and fats. What you are describing as feeling like you are feeding yourself on a deep cellular level is exactly what it is. Our cells are not designed to function without animal fats and protein.
Not believing in pill form supplements is a personal choice and many people make that. For us, the deficiencies we see in people in our work and their inability to replenish sorely needed nutrients with just food makes supplementing a requirement for getting and staying healthy. That's just our experience.
It's heartening to see a shift away from the insane low fat fad to people starting to eat animal fat and protein and low amounts of grains and starch.
Thanks for sharing, and glad you enjoyed the ceremony!
    Song to Song,
    Helmut

Thanks. This reading is very validating for what my own guidance had been bringing forth...and yet, as someone who has believed that eating vegetarian was the "goal" it's been hard to reconcile eating so many animal fats and meats. sorry, i don't believe in pill form supplements...but i can say i gathered and ate wild nettles a few years ago like i could not get enough. animal fats now are that way.... and i described it as though i knew i was feeding myself on some deep cellular level.
still collect and eat and dry nettles and other wild herbs every year. now wild mushrooms....and we have a HUGE garden and are teaching others to collect, grow and prepare their own healthy, local and wild foods.
and many people being guided to eat more "primally" which is higher animal fat and low grain and starch...
thanks for this bone throw and reading.
    hugs!
