So happy for you Rosie :) You're going to be an amazing mum. So sorry to hear you've been suffering so much in your first trimester. I'm 12 weeks pregnant & will finish my second year of midwifery training in the nick of time before coming a mama. I've found it incredibly difficult juggling placement/sickness & also spend my days off horizontal & have had to go home some days with sickness/dizziness. I can relate to so much of what you're saying. It fees like a marathon just moving from the bed to the sofa some days. I am soo grateful for my husband, he's been a rock. It can feel very lonely, but in some ways being on the wards has been a wonderful distraction and I feel a whole new layer of compassion/awareness for the women in my care. I also feel even more excited that I am training to be a midwife, being looked after by a team I know feels incredibly special. Been watching your videos for years & so it feels lovely to do this 'together' as it were. Take care of yourself!
Merilla, this is such a cute comment, thank you for taking the time to send it! Totally understand the days where you can barely move from the bed to the sofa; you poor thing! Hopefully it will all start easing soon! Best of luck with the continuation of your training; so lovely to be pregnancy buddies too! 🤰🏼🥰🤰🏼 Hugs xx
Haha, it does sometimes get a bit like that! I’m trying to be a bit more “on it” now I’m feeling much better, but there was no way I was going to get anything up the last couple of months!! I’m sure your video will be fab when it comes out! Enjoy your babies xx
