Looking forward to seeing Charter Schools being rolled out, thank you David and Sean for the informatiom
Charter schools have had fantastic results in the USA, and are hated by unions because of that.
There definitely needs to be more CHOICE for parents that find much of the mainstream schools highly offensive and full of pseudo science
S
Ounds like a
Reasonable way to do schooling
As an experienced teacher, I am highly in favour of charter schools. I think they allow the flexibility that is needed to respond to the variation of students today.
Our next PM!
😂😂😅🤣
This commitment beyond October 2026 should not be made.
Funding! He does not refer to the fact the size of school affects funding.
The railway workshops in Otahuhu trained lots of workers for industry. Shut down as part neoliberal economics.
The minister of works were another training ground.
All the clever kids who want to learn will go to a charter school
One thing is sure we have failed students for the last 20 odd years so give charter schools a go...
Sadly, it doesn’t matter how successful they are, as soon as labour get back in they will be closed immediately because labour politically oppose Charter Schools. They don’t care about the kids who’ve found success there. They just want the education system to fail and brainwash kids.
You do realised that Charter Schools were tried under the last National government and there were issues which is why Labour got rid of them.
@@Marzipan_Rocks well education is failing now so try again, nothing to lose
@@Marzipan_Rocks Ideological issues!
@@brianrassie3526 repeating the same mistakes is just dumb though. Try something else would make more sense.
good on you David, keep at it for all of us
Sick of Politicians talking Accountability.
The People of NZ need more Accountability from our Politicians for successive Governments ruining NZ
In Thailand there is a school "The Bamboo " school. These schools are different. The kids appoint the staff, they decide most if not all things. Is this charter school model?
Whatever the MSM might say, Seymour knows his sh$t
😂😂
The school referred to in Albany has 160 students . Not as popular as other North Shore schools it seems.
Might be an idea to use education as a punishment if a young person breaks the law. e.g. A sentence of three years in youth confinement or release when a young person has learned to Read and Write. Just a thought.
Will probably end up like the early childcare education business model. No doubt it will be there rich mates reaping the rewards from the govt 😂
No comments on the coroners findings yesterday then Sean? Too busy in employment court maybe you missed it 😂
I enjoyed how the herald had a nice photo of the kid and a dog, Stuff found a photo of him in dark glasses and cap holding up a fish (known turn off for girls), no real facial features or identifiers. Maximum empathy minimisation
