Thanks for that. A great refresher. I have to sling, lift and stand on end a smooth marble column soon. It's about 2m tall and 400mm diameter. I'm slightly nervous that a double choke might not be grippy enough to hold the column verically to stand it up. What are your thoughts?

We basket tri and box truss almost always in events rigging, however we also go around the top chords again, so its like basket choke.
Best way to sling 6x4s or any formwork timer?? Sling to avoid damaging the load with chains?

Does it matter about how the sling overlaps when using the double wrap choke?
