Catholic Cathedral Holds Controversial Funeral for Transgender Activist | EWTN News Nightly

Reaction continues following a controversial funeral service held last week at Saint Patrick's Cathedral in New York City. The cathedral hosted the service for known transgender activist. The funeral featured inappropriate elements and behavior. It is unclear if cathedral staff were aware that the deceased was a man who identified as a woman. At the direction of Cardinal Timothy Dolan, a Mass of reparation has been celebrated inside St. Patrick's. How did someone not know. If anyone is going to be funeralized in a cathedral--in the cathedral of NEW YORK, there should have been all sorts of due diligence. If there was such ambiguity around all of this, why was it ever allowed to happen. Who was the priest at the cathedral. If there was no member of the Cathedral Clergy leading this, how on earth did this happen????
