Rory is a really good guy, I have talked to him on numerous occasions when riding at Claremore. He genuinely loves working on the trails there and I have come across him out just working on areas all by himself.
I don't have any social media other than YT, so it would be nice if there was a site to sign up on with our emails to get notifications of trail work days. Hopefully they're not all on Saturdays because that's my "Friday" because of my work schedule.
Alot of riders are migrating more to Claremore from Turkey Mtn because of the amount of foot traffic and erosion there. The city of Tulsa has been behind the curve on maintenance there. Back in the 90's there was a group called T.O.R.B.A (Tulsa Off-road Bicycle Assoc.) and we did volunteer work at Turkey until the club got shut down. Rory and the group has been doing a fantastic job staying on top of all the work needed.
Well said!
Simple way to help out in an unofficial way, after a big wind storm, walk or ride the trails and throw downed branches way off the trail. That helps make it a better environment for everyone who comes after you. However, throw them a long ways off the trail...5 feet or more. This is important in areas that have to trim the brush back on the sides of the trail every summer...that way their trimmers don't continuously hit branches.
Fantastic tip! Thank you for your contribution!
@@LunchRide BTW...glad to have you posting! You were missed!
Claremore local here, currently recovering from a broken arm on these here trails! It's an amazing system, they've added several jump lines and over a dozen features in the last year, and it's so exciting to see it all happen from by backyard! Rory is doing great work leading the effort out here and it shows. Our own mini Bentonville in progress
I agree! Those jumps lines are something that was really needed around here. Hope you heal up soon!
Hearing people talk about nearby trail systems is exactly how my wife and I found Claremore, and we're pretty glad we did! Great video Cody, good seeing another quality video from Lunch Ride!
Thank you my friend! Word of mouth is so important.
Glad to see you're back Cody. I've missed your videos.
Thank you as always for your support! I will try my best to keep them coming!
A lot of good sense, straight forward ideas for supporting the places we love best. Thanks Cody - be well and stay safe.
You're welcome! Thank you for your support. I appreciate it!

Thank you Brian! I am working on getting back to a regular schedule.
Cool tips. Haven’t been out there in a while. I’ll check out your handy work!
Rory is out there working all the time. If you haven’t been to Claremore in a while, you’re in for a treat!
Great video and great insight! Looking forward to getting out to Claremore soon!
Thank you! Now come on over here and show me how to ride!
@@LunchRide Looks like The Ride Series will be heading there the 23rd/24th of April. Hoping to get that date locked down tomorrow and get some posts out to start driving the registration. Falling in line with your video, our plan is to give $10 back to the CTA for every rider that signs up.
That’s what I heard! I’ll be there. I was signed up to TRS years ago but that was the spring everything got rained out and flooded. That is a fantastic idea to give back to the trails.
Dude, great video, and I love that Phat Tire hat!
Thank you, Tracy! ‘Tis a good hat. ‘It’s my favorite hat.
Stoked to see you back at it. Thanks for some good ideas. I need to make 2022 about more than just me. Hope this is the start of more to come from ya.
I have more on the way. Thank you for watching!

@@LunchRide let’s make a video about the rock garden climb at Turkey. It needs to be famous. Before it’s gone
QT gift card for gas for the weedwackers; Lowes, or Home Depot gift cards. I sent FB messages to the Claremore city councilors to thank them for backing Rory
What fantastic ideas Callie! Thank you for this!
