I recently got the C2 for this exact purpose, i have the AD5Bs on it and the TS2 quantum drive, but those are the only 2 upgrades i've made. I honestly prefer this ship for bounties to the Corsair, which is wayyyy more cumbersome to fly, despite being smaller! Great video, thanks
100% agree, Corsair is brilliant and all those guns firing at once is really nice but the C2 dances around it's targets in comparison. When I'm working as a group I always think of bringing it out to play but end up in the Inferno or C2.
I got an m2 as a loaner for the liberator i use rinos on it for the gimbles but I'm thinking of changing to the size 5 repeaters since it turns way better then i thought, the nose turret helps a lot for when my buddy flies with me, only problem though is that when your in the seat for the nose turret, you black out a lot lol i want to try cargo running with it, but I've never taken the time to go to a web site for for trade routes, i rented a m2 during the free fly and got into a few fights with it around ghost hollow because we were trying to land and deploy a storm and storm aa, after the fights we got into in the air i totally changed my mind about the ship, i may pledge one some day, i know it has less cargo space then the c2 but i like the extra turrets on it, and i really like the a2 but i don't know enough people to man all the guns on it lol
You might not know enough now but Star citizen has a really good community. I'm sure you will have enough friends to fill it in no time. Cargo/trading is my main loop and have a few videos that you might like to look at or you could try SCtradetools website if you want to make your own routes.

I'm considering buying the pledge upgrade to C2 which is expensive but the frequent wipes in SC are the main thing that has stopped me playing for the past 2 years. I just don't feel the motivation to grind the same things over and over every wipe, so lean towards buying the ships in the store because at least you keep them then.
If this is the path you want to take then set your limits now. I said I would only buy one ship to get me started but that soon turned into the second rank of concierge. I would recommend looking into the CCU game, this will save you lots of money. Most of my ships have been half price using this method.
I got my rep up to hrt today. Got my c2 setup same as yours. Had to run a bunch of salvage to get it but got it. Hopefully getting to ert won't take too long
Great video! Might have to try this. Also, can confirm - be diligent. My gameplay loop is pirating at these scrap yards. I soft kill any ship on approach and steal cargo. I've made about 19mil in a couple weeks. We do exist ;) stay safe out there
Just make sure to manage your range, in this video I'm not 100% accurate on my target but still landing shots. Even with a mix of hammerhead and Redeemer you will still have more than enough ammo.

If you don't think you can or want to solo ERTs, ask someone with a fighter to fly with you. Most of us love money, and will settle for a 60/40 split in your favour.
It's different but not obsolete. Changes to the ballistic means that cannons will be your weapon of choice so you have to fight very differently. Unfortunately we have a huge duping epidemic so selling your cargo is not as easy at the moment, hopefully they fix it soon.
Unfortunately they changed the ammo in the last patch. You can now only have that lower amount and shields will absorb more of the ballistic damage. I'm working on an updated video for this patch, hope to have it out soon

Corsair is a beast, full Ballistic will melt the enemy faster but it has a smaller cargo hold. Not every contract is full of stuff you want to take but when you get lucky the Hercules have enough space for multiple large cargo containers. Tbh I still use my Corsair but not as much as the C2
You need to level up your bounty hunter rep, this can be done around any of the planets. Each level will offer you an evaluation contract to open up the next difficulty.
I agree. I can get 2-3 good runs in at times before I get worried. It depends on your accuracy. I made the whole thing ballistic in case I draft a friend with me.
Revisiting this vid after a similar score. I loading a c2 full with mostly eggs. I climb up the ladder, walk through the doors, but get a bug just before I can sit down in the pilot seat. Can't do a shit. Calling my org mates on discord to come and loot me so I could rage quit. Later they sent me my share, 1/4, 8.2M

Things have definitely changed from before Christmas. This video was recorded Saturday morning. The night before we had a 40million run and last night was 30 so it's still ok. I have noticed some ships are always empty now and the good stuff has always been in the Starfarer's, so not sure if they have just changed the loot pool for each type of ship.

Because i literally always get the same, quartz tungsten corrundum iron etc. and for the valuable ones i didnt have anything else but quantanium altruciatoxin and once slam, literally nothing else no widow neon or the eggs. I did a lot of bountys, to be clear from close to unlocking vhrts to unlocking erts, nothing. Sure i blew up some ships on accident but the majority i scanned. Am i just the most unlucky person in the verse or are they so fucking rare?
To begin with it was nearly every Ert but they kept dropping the amount until latest patch. Since last week it's dropped significantly, you can still make good profit but it's been changed to be more inline with other top tier contracts
@@EnixSC Yeah i imagine they did it was really too op but funny thing is right after i wrote this comment i hopped on sc and did exactly one ERT and found a 890 jump with 14 scu of eggs netting me 1.5 mio and 1 contract after that i had a hammerhad with 2 scu of eggs and another ship with 32 scu of quantanium the second i complain i get everything haha

@@EnixSC what are the payouts for bounty hunting? I've only ever done it in relatively large groups. Collecting cargo and salvaging the wrecks. So by the time the dividing was done the actual bounties didn't cover much more than fuel and ammo.

@@EnixSC so many complain about balance between career path payouts yet they have no understanding of what balance actually is. Risk, Effort, Expense (investment), Time vs Reward. In terms of Real Life, they want a part time job the average high school dropout can learn in 10 minutes or less. But they want that job to pay equal to a full time position that requires multiple specialized college degrees to even apply for.

Not to mention they had to give about 400 dollars to buy this ship to even begin to playing these broken missions. I dont know what is going on anymore in this alpha. I don't get why people think this is "kinda cool haha". I'm sorry, but this is certainly not what I signed up for in 2012. Please start delivering systems and actual content instead of overhyped, bugged out stuff like this. I am so disheartened by the non existing progres in this game, and most importantly the people validating this bullshit. I'm sorry but this IS NOT okay.

This just tells me you haven't been playing the game recently. It is massively different than it was a few years ago. While still being buggy there is genuine fun to be had in this game.

i've done over 50 runs with this exact setup and never ran out of ammo per ERT. Its more than enough for the fight. Just rearm between bounties.
In most cases, I can run 2 ERTs before rearming. If I have 1400 or more after the first ERT, Ill do the second.

My issue has been getting qualified for higher bounties. I feel like I have run 25+ HRTs and still am only half way up the reputation bar.

how are you finding ships with so many weevil eggs in them? I've done like 10 ERT contracts and barely got any weevil eggs, maybe like 20 SCU worth

@@Ryan-bk7kx keep your eyes open for the other good commodities, with them dropping the frequency of drugs they added things like RMC.
Mine has the size 5 ballistics and it tears ERTs up and you scoop up the goods in the bay and off to the next or a quick reload of the guns.

The eggs came from a C2 and a Starfarer. A second C2 contained less valuable drugs an I think there was also a Taurus that I didn't checked at all.

Saturday morning. It has definitely changed from every contract having maze and eggs but I'm still getting these big loads.
Found a load with 343 weewil eggs yesterday from a single c2, so i can confirm that it's still going.

Ballistics are currently just a waste of ammo. Might change in the future but that part has definitlely changed now.

Yep, the patch this week put an end to the large amount of dtugs drugs. It's still a fun loop with good profit though.

As much as i like my c2, we have to admit it needs a good nerf. It is not connies or corsairs that needs to be buffed.
