I believe that George Floyd was unjustly killed. I only have a problem with them holding him up as a great hero.
George Floyd was a catalyst, which means a person whose death sparks change. And even though I feel a lot of activist now in days fail with conveying messages I feel but in a way he was definitely an unfortunate outlet which causes the perception of him being a hero

Dorn wasn't murdered by people given power by the state and sworn to uphold the law. There's no movement needed to create policies to protect people from actual criminals. There is a movement needed for police reform however.

George Floyd's killer has been arrested and will see his time in court. While David Dorn's killer is still roaming free because our community refuses to be "snitches" and give info for the killers arrest. We criticize police officers for not holding each other accountable, but no one is better at not holding their own accountable than black people.

He was on fentanyl AND meth...that is CRAZY! My brothers girlfriend was a heroin addict for years, and did fentanl one time by accident and it killed her. I cannot imagine the tolerance he had built up to be on two massively lethal drugs like that.

Barachel Butler it’s a nice thought, but our country has always focused more on punishment rather than prevention/rehabilitation. If we had a gov’t that actually had its citizens’ best interests at heart, things could be different. But it’s just not that way. They don’t want people to get better. Guys, I think we are to appreciate the fact that Tyrone has the strength of character and intellectual honesty to recognize he wishes not to speak about certain subjects because he thinks he might be ill prepared. Nowadays, people like him are a rare breed: smart, coherent and with the stones to say "I'm not the best suited to speak about this". This is a youtuber worth following, mates. Tyrone deserves all the love.

Symbol:"a mark or character used as a conventional representation of an object, function, or process" -- his picture and name are being used as a symbol, it literally could have been any black person killed in such an atrocious manner, he as a person has little to do with it. Hero: "a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities" -- as far as I can tell, no one is admiring him.

There are strong rumors of BLM having been infiltrated by Antifa. Antifa has been around since 1932 as a militant Communist organization, originally in Germany just prior to the Nazis taking over. They started accepting anarchists (represented by the black flag) into the fold back in the 80s, after which they were called Anarcho-Communists. If it's true that BLM was infiltrated by Antifa they would be acting as cover for Antifa's activities.

Even assuming races can thrive, at what cost? How will over a billion in poverty in Africa be modernized given the limited resources we have? Is it even worth it to alleviate their own problems? At this point, it seems more sensible to entrust the future of humanity to the ones who are already doing well rather than dragging everyone else down to help those who can't help themselves
