- There is concern, and family drama, now 32 days into the hunt for Sebastian Rogers, a 15-year-old Tennessee teen with autism. Since he went missing from his home in western Tennessee, his mother and stepfather have made conflicting statements, and his biological father says he hasn’t heard a word from them. Former FBI agent and NewsNation law and justice contributor Jennifer Coffindaffer tells “Elizabeth Vargas Reports” she’s concerned that members of the United Cajun Navy, who were among the volunteers hunting for Sebastian, have pulled out because of threats.

Yeah, Seth had no idea about that OR about DCFS being called on Proudfoot regarding Sebastian. He was confused as to why he wasn't contacted by DCFS and given that information and as far as Proudfoot spanking his son, there is a "no corporal punishment" agreement between Seth and Katie regarding raising Sebastian as co-parents. He is not happy to hear this info. He's also a Deputy Sheriff so I think Proudfoot may have bitten off more than he can chew in marriage #5 in regards to how he likes to run his household in such a dominant and intimidating fashion. At the moment, Seth is focusing solely on finding his missing son but when he's found. Oh boy, I think Seth is going to have a lot to say about some things. God Bless Him.

I have three autistic boys ranging 10 to 23. They are the most celestial beings in our home. How could you ever use a belt to discipline? My heart aches for the father.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I have a 19 year old son who is also Autistic and I am horrified as my son and every other autistic boy I've met is a gentle, loving, harmless soul. bless him.
@Lovebuzz11-11 I have a 5 year old grandson who will throw things and even hit people if he is told not to do something. He has hit his mother, and she treats him with love and kindness. So is so many levels of autism. And they moved to a town to get him better help. But only time will tell if he will overcome the aggression.
My friend has 3 children.and 2 are autistic they love their kids they are proud of them they do not abuse them
Maybe if the police would come forward to have some sense of leadership and control over the case instead of staying quiet and allowing the free for all, it might help. To many mixed signals.

Because they're being called out for some half truths and misrepresentations. They aren't the "real" Cajun Navy and have no association with them. They're getting called out by ppl so they bailed instead of just facing the music or clearing anything up that they might feel was a misunderstanding. That says alot in my opinion. If they were truly only there to help and nothing more, you would put minds at ease and carry on with your mission. Thankfully there's a lot of volunteers out there helping Seth and his team. He's got a lot of ppl that care.

The fact that they were telling the YT creators, especially JLR who was boots on the ground before they even came and has been speaking to Seth, getting the story out to 180,000 subs, and doing so very compassionately and respectfully is out of line. I think they just wanted to take all the credit to build up their name and it's not about taking credit it's about finding Sebastian. Ironically enough, it's the RUclipsrs out there that understand that concept and shared each other's videos and been respectful to one another and are focused on finding Sebastian not the UCN.

Those United Cajun Navy members could be hired accomplices by the mother and stepdad. They should be investigated for their bizarre interference and threats to the volunteers.
There was something very strange about that chapter of the Cajan Navy. Firstly one of the main organisers was on video introducing himself with two different names in two different locations. They also were the ones on video threatening youtube creators simply sitting in their cars. I think those particular people have been caught out for their grifting dodgy behaviour, and in turn it has reduced their donations dramatically, thus them choosing to leave.
This is by no means a reflection on the good in the Cajan Navy, but just like some rogue creators, there are wolves in sheep's clothing amongst so called "expert search teams" as well.
Some delving in to that by News Nation would be suggested.

From what I saw and heard, the RUclipsrs were the ones being threatened and had the police called on them for no reason, other than being in a parking lot or street... it was the locals that had "threatened" the UCN, allegedly... The UCN got their knickers in a knot for being called out as scammers... What kind of professional search group calls off a search because it rained for 30 minutes? And I heard that they asked for volunteers to bring chairs??? If that's true, what the heck is that about??? And another thing, why were they starting their searches so late in the morning???

Seth has his own group of searchers. And they are close knit and not compromized by Chris, his family, and goons associated to them.

I have a thought. the thought is Sebastian left on his own. So we have to go with that even if he did not. If Sebastian did leave on his own for what ever reason then he would be going to a place he wanted to be or a place he felt safe. OR! If something happened to Sebastian in the home and it was the mom that said he left on his own then the proudfoots would not dump Sebastian in a place that would lead back to them. I had a non verbal 15 year old youth take off on his bike one time, never ran off before. I had one person searching on foot and I took my car. I went farther and worked my way back and found him walking in a back alley with his bike. His chain had fallen off he tried to put it back on and was all full of grease. He was trying to find his way back home. When he saw me driving up he just started to cry. I was so gald I found him. The only reason I found him so fast was I thought like him. Where do I think he might want to go..The mall because he loves to walk around at the mall. Yes that is just where he was heading. So please think...if Sebastian wanted out of that house he would go to a place he felt safe at...if someone wanted him out of that house they would put him somewhere that fit their narritive

There are many cases of autistic teenagers leaving on their own and surviving well. Found years later.
People act like this 15 yo is mentally incapable and he’s likely brilliant but emotionally manipulated mistreated and infantilized at home.
I’m betting he’s smart enough to plan an escape. She could have convinced him no one wanted him so he bailed before chis got back home again.

Have they searched nearby ponds or lakes? Does TN swamps? If so that should be the next search location. Do they live in an apartment or a house? There's no camera footage at neighbors houses?

@No, Cadaver dogs didn't pick up Sebastians scent anywhere outside the house.
@@lindaadelwerth8042 The scent of decomp is not detectable by cadaver dogs until the person has been deceased for 8-12 hours hun. It is not instantaneous upon death. So of course there would not have been a cadaver dog hit there. It hadn't been long enough.

(Also about the belt)I think what chris said was he hit him with the belt many years ago but even then that's pretty messed up of you to do to some kid like him chris..No telling what else you use to do to him..Now if he left on his own and is in hiding its probably because of the step dad's treatment..he used that time to up and leave and go hide while u were gone at work.. but this all doesnt make any since tho..no break in- no robbery-and mom didnt hear a thing..was the front door locked in the morning when the mom noticed he was missing? and is there a bus or a train he could hop on to get away..
