@@dennysdrives1020 Yea, I found it immediately after my comment, ha. I've got the W/T trim, and Crutchfield is only calling for the door speaker so I'm not sure if I have dash speakers or not. I stick my head above the dash while music is playing, and I still can't tell somehow. I thought about just putting the tweeters up there, and woofers in the doors just to get the soundstage up higher. Or I could just pick up these Kenwoods I guess.
@@dennysdrives1020 great thank you. So I bought some JL audio c2 690tx like eight months ago and I went to install them last week and they didn’t fit because the magnet is to thick and it hit against the window rail 🤦🏽♂️. I was thinking of cutting out the small part of the rail that hits and install it that way but I’d rather not. I really liked the speakers I bought and regret that I have to select a different one. Can you tell me a which speaker I can purchase that will fit but give me the same performance as the JL audio C2. Thanks.
@alvarolbricenojr4545 I am trying to come up with a custom bracket for bigger /deeper magnets. I also bought a pair that has the same issue. If I cant make something work I have the JBL GTO 939 that will fit.
Thank very much for the video Dennys!!
And then the front door speakers aren't 4 by 6 ?
Hi, You are welcome. The door speakers that i replaced were a factory 6x9. Different Trim levels might have come with different sized speakers.
Your link to the speakers is the same one as the link to the brackets. Great tutorial!
Thank you! I updated the link.
I've got to replace mine once the weather gets good here in NE Ohio. There's dash speakers too?
Yes there are dash speakers too. I did a sperate video on those.

Did you have to get a harness for all 4 door speakers?
I did use a harness on all 4 door speakers.
How come you didn’t use the old speaker brackets?
The stock speaker is one piece and the bracket is built in. I would used it if I could have.
Do the tweeters work? Or are the 6x9 for mid bass only
The tweeters work too!
Did your truck come with the Bose factory system?
No it is not a Bose system.
Do you have stock head unit
Yes I do. I have the non Bose system
