I love this game but it does not pose any challenge whatsoever. I'd play the Hell out of it if we had a proper hard core mode with all that was removed.
Bethesda only ever releases incomplete games! Not until all the DLC arrives is it "finished". I think most if not all of the features you mentioned are in the game files, for later implementation. As evidenced by the interview clips you played. Something not discussed there was also live bounty capture, that would add a lot to thd bounty mission part of the game. I still think it's a good game, with the potential to become great if Bethesda keeps supporting it.
Beacon for 5 min wait? nah, marooned on a planet for minimum of 7 days , have to collect food, water and find build/find shelter etc to survive, whilst battling indigenous animal threats. NPC Companion arrives after this time in new ship (which you must have preivously bought and stored else doomed). Starfield has so many potential amazing scenarios, but Bethesda - like Techland and Dying Light 2- seem to have lost all their talent, creativity and passion. Nice video btw 👍

Well in an interview He said they toned down the a.i. His words, if you need a source; I will gladly post it, but it should be public knowledge.
The fuel part of no Man's sky i think is a great core part of the game. Should def be added back
