It will carry on exactly the same as it always has. This has been the same ceremony for centuries. That’s the great thing about Constitutional Monarchies; they provide stable continuity.
@@albertsmyth9616 Hi, What I meant by the comment is the reorganisation of the Guards. The Irish Guards are woefully short of recruits and they have now 'utilised' this by giving them a new role where they don't need an entire battalion (they have also converted the London Irish TA company into an Irish Guards one. The London regiment is renamed the London Guards and the different companies used a reserve backfill for the different Guard nationalities. The Coldstreams and Grenadier Regiments are one battalion with a full regimental command for both battalions! This is a woeful waste of money and stinks of the nepotism at the heart of the army and the hangers-on at court. When Bess moves on the minimum will be to make a Guards Regiment and staff with a Coldstream, Grenadier, Scots, Welsh and Irish battalions. One band!!!!! And also the Blues and Royals will really amalgamate Just a thought
Yes we do. And the fact that these ceremonies have been pin pointed as a major draw for tourists to London. Along with the fact that tourism in London alone generates millions, it’s a worthwhile exercise.

I can't imagine how difficult bagpipes must be to play standing still never mind marching in step.
These pipers are marching at a normal pace. The Gurkha pipers go a lot faster.

Quick pro tip - when you've got slung arms, you can use BOTH hands to close a gate!

Excellent as usual,,, could the police officer possibly see a razor blade before guarding the palace?
We should be so lucky. Blows my mind the need for razors!
So Dave you still use a razor blade-bet it's not disposable. Ex Tom eh?

Well-said.
Razor blades are very scarse since the Russians invaded Ukrain and cost a small fortune now. Police officers are only allowed two shave’s a week.
