Important note about those batteries. They deal enough damage to actually destroy an arm if detonated on their spawn point. I dont know if that applies to haz 5 or not. So they can actually give a slight edge if you hold onto those batteries to remove a pesky arm immediately.
as a bonus for number 6, pressing x in the drop pod will make the dwarf say "get in we're about to leave!" or a similar line as when you enter the drop pod
Those batteries are actually re-textured explosive barrels from the Tritilyte Shard machine event. Next time you see one, give it a ping and see for yourself
The kills in the bestiary are not your kills, but your team kills. The caretaker batteries can be thrown into the eye: they will explode and do massive damage to the caretaker, but it is really difficult to achieve.
Pinging things is not only a great way to notify your team of what to do next, but the game has a ton of voice lines that teach you about what you're pinging. Ping anything you're unsure about.
The elevator plant screech is actually a modified version of the Preatorian death cry. I know that because for a while I used the Raving Rabbids audio mod for the glyphids (and preatorian/oppressors) and those plants made the same sound replacement as a dying praetorian, only on a different pitch.
To further go into the battery one: they are literally just the bombs from the tritilyte Deposit, they are remnant placeholders from a previous version of idustrial sabotage where they served a bigger role in the mission. Also i did not know that last one, cant believe i lived without the dedicated cough button
More sabotage tips (assuming Haz 5): 1. Caretaker tentacles can be destroyed with a pick + powered pick attack combo. 2. Crowd next to your driller when the shredder swarm phase, his drills can melt the entire hoard in seconds. 3. The driller can 2 shot all caretaker vents at once if he takes both damage upgrades in tier 1 and tier 3 on his satchel charges. It is not an uncommon tactic for driller to make a ceiling base with his own resupply just to do so.
@@spoopyboi1882 they can only die to just a power attack if you take bonus direct damage perk for your power attacks. If you picked reduced cooldown or larger aoe, you need to do a normal attack as well.
@@SomeScruffian then you don't one hit power attack slashers on any difficulty with your power attack so you're gimping yourself. Extra damage is by far the best to have in a pinch.
@@SomeScruffian who doesn't run extra dmg? Only other use could be a cooldown reduction with berserker literally nothing else. Also the wider aoe is pretty worthless, it has massive dmg falloff so it can fail to two shot a grunt.
Fun fact: exploding one of those barrels next to one of the arms will immediately destroy it. So save some ammo and make things a little less annoying for yourself at the start.
On the point about the Caretakers arms, it's useful to know that each arm can be immediately defeated with one melee swing followed by a power swing. Due to the animation override with the power swing, you can quickly 1-2 combo an arm to get it out of the way. Be careful though, all arms are re-armed (haha) when entering the vent phase and eye phase (so if you're about to change phases maybe hold off for a few seconds). If you're playing gunner, I find it particularly effective to use the BRT7 Burst fire with lead spray overclock, jump onto the caretaker platform during eye phase and go to town at point blank distance whilst using your shield to damage boost through the electrical self defences. Also destroying elevator plants is a fun way to spook greenbeards :)
Of note about the batteries: Pretty sure I've heard they're heavy objects, so other than just blowing them up by shooting them, you can also pick-up and throw them to take advantage of that explosion... 👀
@@brandinorules Yep, can confirm. Just did an Industrial Sabotage mission, can you can pick up and throw the batteries! (Didn't manage to hit anything with them though... 😹)

I knew all of them, but... Something i doubt no one knows...(except maybe devs but they might not either lmao) is when going to the memorial hall inside the tunnel right after the elevator theres a spot where you can hear spark sounds but not see the sparks, the thing is if you turn around to not look at it and then turn back to look at the hallway, the sparks appear for a brief moment, isn't that kinda crazy? I think there's a similar spot in the other tunnel that goes to that weird scaffolding place. I recorded it so i can just upload it to RUclips as some dumb video as well, maybe just private it and have a link here if anyone wants to know for whatever reason.
