As WW is one of THE original junglers, I have no idea why they made him so good at CS farming, his passive that gives him all that attack speed vs low health is amazing for CS and he can sustain to stay in lane forever.
It's because it was really horrible to lane with him and he used to be a laner before the rework so they tweaked him. But of course, Zwag should not be allowed to play WW to stop giving PTSD to those poor bastards. At least he should tell them, so they know they didn't lose, they just got Zwagged hahahaha

If you are going bruiser ww you might get away with a mana crystal and make it into frozen heart later. But the tear isn't a bad option. Jg ww gains a ton of mana from jg item.

Try a 6 Active Items build on a tank like Rammus, Singed, Volibear, Maokai, or Sion. Predator Boots, Turbo Chemtank, Gargoyle Stoneplate, Randuin's Omen, Zhonya's Hourglass, and Redemption. Bring Ingenious Hunter too for CD on the item actives.
You should try Hybrid carry Jax, Voli or WW. Rush BotRK, then Rift, then Nashor's, then DD and Maw for the last ones or earlier if you need them earlier. This build works for all 3, even more for Voli top. Edit: btw...for Voli you don't rush BotRK. Go for Nashor's or Riftmaker depending on the matchup.
Dude play AP Voli. Nashors and berserker boots GG 2.5 atackspeed. Had one in my ranked games. He rolled over us. Totaly stupid. Adc building ton of items with atackspeed and cant get 2.5... voli build 1 item and GG
i think AP WW is so much better with everfrost. you get mana so you dont run oom after 2 Qs and you get a root to hold them still that you can combo with your ult, and it still has almost as much health and AP as rift.

As a ww main i advice against picking an ignite ever, you rely on your passive to close up on people and even flank around them to fear or chace a different target or even escape, when out of combat your move speed passive triggers with a short cooldown and when ignite is ticking it puts you back in combat which prevents you from zooming after and run around your low target.

Because then you are a paper, and if you do a mistake, you are dead. Yeah you heal a lot, but you get CCed and it's over. Also it doesn't scale with ult, so you heal a lot less and do less damage with ult. At the end it is just better to stack resistances and hp + botrk for damage.

As long as you have big mana capacity (Tear of the Goddess and its derivatives) or mana regain (that subrune and Essence Reaver) ofc

You do get the healing of the lich bane damage. WW q heals from the damage that your doing, including any on-hit damage it applies
