Great video - So Buddy Passes are the +1 beneficiaries from an actual employee? What documents do you usually need to check in at the counter with a buddy pass? Thanks!
Buddy passes are up there, but parents, spouse, travel companions take priority over buddy passes. For a buddy pass, the airline employee would book you through their booking portal and give you the itinerary number. From there, as a buddy pass rider, you’d be able to check in without needing any credentials. The most important thing to note is that if anything goes wrong, it’s worth it to reach out to the person that booked form. But for something like not making your flight, usually the gate agent will move you to the next flight.
@@FlirtingWithTravel Thank you for your detailed answer. I just realized I am a primary travel companion designated once a year per employee. Does this check in process change? How do they define the priority list? Apparently the process is different for all airlines, as some do not allow unaccompanied travel partner without the employee. Is this being checked?
Of the countries in the Eastern European region, it's definitely one of the most expensive, but it's still a good value for travel based on my research
This is the best video as far as explaining everything about non-rev travel. Very well detailed and precise. Appreciate the upload! 👍
Thanks! We’re putting together a non-rev guide soon, stay tuned
@@FlirtingWithTravel Yessss I can’t wait!! Looking forward to it 😊

This is under rated
Slovenia has probably gotten costly because that's where Melanie Tramp is from. She's impacted her country.

Retired folks are right under working folks
Did we miss them? Thanks for updating us 😃
This info is not correct. Buddy passes don’t go before retirees on American, and we board by check in time not seniority
Thanks for sharing info for American. Different airlines vary on policy and I’m not an American employee, so I appreciate feedback on another airline!
