  • OK friends, I really wanted to share with you the deep side part, face frame tutorial so here it is! I had a few issues with the result but, I hope that you still learn a lot from all the info shared.
    I'm showing how I place my foils to face frame a deep side part because it can be hard to get it to feel balanced. Listen carefully at the start because I share in detail what I'm doing and why I'm doing it.
    I still section in four parts even though one side has a really small section, it is best for the angle of the foils to still follow my normal section pattern. Tipping out heavier on the small side is a key tip to making it feel even. I need to do this on a darker base and hopefully a real person another time.
    I feel really annoyed about the result because I didn't think about the fact that it wouldn't show up well on the already light colour hair - I needed to tone it in order to show you my placement .
    Hopefully you still get something form it.
    Thanks for all the encouraging messages. Ask me anything in the comments below. Also give me some tips for good mani heads please!!!

    YESSSS FINALLY!! I'm guessing these rules also apply for a not-so-deep side part as well? I have a side part, but I always part my hair down the middle when sectioning, because, that's just how I see everyone else doing it.. and it's like, so rare to see side parts anymore these days!!

    Love this so much. Very helpful!!! In my cosmo school I can’t really tip out... it’d just have to add more rooty foils between to get away with this type of thing. Very strict 😝. If you didn’t tip out at all and left them natural... I guess it just wouldn’t have as much of a punch!!?? Would it be stripey I wonder?
    Sorry about your mannequin fiasco. When I work on mine at home they take forever to lighten and just generally suck haha. You’re doing amazing. I am in love with all of your content! So helpful!!! ❤️🙏🏼🙌🏼

    Curious which brands do you use in your salon for colors and toners? I’ve always used goldwell but have just started branching out to redken. I love blondme as well for lightener. Just always curious what other stylists are using. This was such a perfect tutorial for placement. You should start a teaching academy’s or be an educator

    Hey loved this, how many foils at a time do you keep on your board? I found it an extra faff to place foil onto board before every packet.. xx

    • @blushgirl.
      @blushgirl.  3 года назад

      Hi Sarah i keep around 6-10 foils at a time if i'm trying to get very close to the roots i may use less because it can become bulky. Omg definatly need to stack the board!! just let me know if you need any help actually if you go to this link you can watch my tutorial for how i use the board. ruclips.net/video/ydUsnqu6PZ8/видео.html

    Also, what ratio do you use for your bleach to developer? Your lightener always looks so creamy thick, but also easy to spread! I use 1 to 1.5, but should I be using 1 to 2? I want my lightener to be thick and creamy like yours.

    • @blushgirl.
      @blushgirl.  3 года назад +1

      hmm I use about 1 to 1.5 might be differnt product?

    where can I purchase a foiling board like you are using

  • @lilatolouian

    Also 2, sorry, but was wondering, will this foil placement also look even if she decided to wear her part a different way sometimes?

    • @blushgirl.
      @blushgirl.  3 года назад +1

      with face framing if they wear the part its will always look differnt because it will expose heavier foiling however i always foil it so its looks pretty when they part it to the other side actaully i think it can look really nice because you see more blonde do you know waht i mean?
