So relaxing. I remember being young and laying with my head in my mom's lap while she and my aunts whisper gossip (like ALL good southern ladies do..cause it is disrespectful to NOT whisper) they would talk late in to the evening and I felt so calm and safe there. This takes me right back. Thank you so much!!

I watched Bob Ross on Iranian state TV! which is the only TV we have in Iran and doesn't show just any program. I think it was between 1995-1999 which means it was after his death but I didn't know. We didn't know he was famous or that the way he talked was relaxing in English too. It was a dubbed version and I just thought the voice actor spoke so softly without intending to. I'd watch it with my dad. We'd sit in silence and be mesmerized by dubbed Bob Ross. It felt addicting.

So random and I don't know if @southernasmrsounds will see this but I just saw a gif of all ASMR granddaddy Bob's paintings in chronological order. I always thought they were random nature tableaus - turns out it's a journey through nature with changing seasons,winding waterways, clouds moving through the skies. No one in know in real life would appreciate this, and I just know in my heart that us kids who were mesmerized by his voice and gentle nature sitting cross legged in trance in front of a tv set would love this. So I looked up the most recent Bob Ross painting you made and there you go Mary, I hope you see this, google it (I saw it on imgur) and that it delights you as much as it did me. Or otherwise it's just me sending this into the void. Either way, Happy little trees to you all and may your heart be full.

Oh my goodness I would definitely stick a magnet on the back of that miniture easel and have it as a fridge magnet and change the mini canvas everytime you paint a different canvas
