This was pure gold. Please make more vids on how to use chess tools such as CB, skid vs pc and arena. The amount of features that need to be explained are a lot and the devs do not put it in the perspective of the player. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Thanks a lot!. I´d add you speak a clear english as well which is great for non-natives (like me). So I can improve chess and english listening!😁

Excellent video. Congratulations on your channel. I'm recently learning how to use the Chess Base 17 program and I wanted to ask if you could explain how the assisted calculation icon that appears in repetition training operates. Best regards.

Which engine is used in the replay function?

Whatever the default engine happens to be.

Great tip. I was looking for this kind of information for a long time. Thank you very much! One additional question? How do I know when my variation ends? Chessbase wants to continue playing with the engine...
Edit: Ah, I forgot the checkbox "Repertoire"

In the case of the Encyclopedia of Chess Combinations it shows the result when it is over. I.e. 1-0 or 0-1. If you are lacking this, then my immediate impulse would be that it stops showing you the 'game move' since there wouldn't be any left.

@@chess_and_tech Thanks for your answer. As I mentioned - if you check "Repertoire" it stops when no move is left. If you uncheck "Repertoire" chessbase continues and plays engine moves.

@@ThorstensComment I'm glad it works for you, but will nevertheless point out that I don't have Repertoire checked and it says "Finished 0-1" and offers no engine moves.
