I’m always big on the strength + reaper build with ironclad because it’s so easy to find the cards you need but a sleeper build that doesn’t come up for me much is a block build with snake eye, barricade, impervious, and entrench with a couple body slams. Finished the boss with 999 block
Hey Datto, just to note for the future, if your editor could put up the description of what relics you choose that would be awesome because sometimes you just choose to fast and I have no clue what it does.
I feel like The Heart just requires good defense compared to most other bosses, which is the only thing you need to build around compared to how you build around other bosses. By this, I mean alternative forms of block. That's not to say it's easy, as The Heart is absolutely the hardest boss in the game, but defense really really shines there.
Ironclad is still the only character I haven’t beaten the heart on. Defect is my best ascension grinder but also took me a long time to finally beat the heart on
Ironclad probably has the most broken build in the game in the form of Corruption + Dark Embrace + Feel No Pain. Those three cards should get you your Heart kill.
@@thetealphoenix5485 I don't aim for infinites, it's strong because you have so much power in one turn. You just need to space out your cards well enough to 5-turn the Heart.
Calling watcher your worst character is a fallacy, because to have watcher as your worst character is to assume your skill with the other three is better. Watcher is inherently better than the other three characters, and if you can play the other 3 to an above average level, you can play watcher beyond even that.

Newer players always struggle with Cosmetic Potion Syndrome, it’s not surprising.

Just beat A20 on Clad for the first time, finally moving to Silent, so happy to see Datto having a good time playing this

@ ya every time I run that build I either missing one card for my infinite or my max block build just haven’t had a clean consistent run yet
