I wanted an x100v so bad for my trip to Japan last year but no luck - So glad I was able to get a preorder in for the x100vi so when I travel again to Japan I will have an amazing camera with me ❤️
The V was so hard to find last year. Probably best you didn't end up paying 2x retail for it
@@TaylorJacksonPhoto It really was! I actually almost bought one in 2020 when it first came out but passed on it (and regretted that so much)! It’s just been insanely hard to find for years now it seems. So glad we finally have it’s successor and more stock of it 😁 Love your photos around Japan ❤️
I think you should add the WCl to your x100vi to compete with Leica q2/q3 . Sometime 35mm is too tight for street photography

Got mine paid for and preordered like a million other people… figure it will compliment my X-S20 when I want to go out and shoot and I’ll try to carry it all the time. Hopefully they made a good amount before the announcement… 15k a month won’t cut it 😂

@@geinge82 yeah there were short windows when they launched to order minis Amazon which did it several hours later. I couldn’t talk myself into it at the time… so I’ll be waiting..
Dang, and I just pre-ordered mine right now on the 26th late day 😢 I give it 3 months if I'm really lucky and Fujifilm scales up production even more.

I waited until yesterday to order one, so hopefully I'll get it by this time next year. And for the record, I'm more of a club Haunted House guy. Club Aqua didn't live up to the hype.

Gyukatsu Motomura. Going at weird times might be best to get a smaller line. There are three in Shinjuku pretty close together, so we usually just tour around them until we find one with a reasonable line. (Or none in this case) They take your order in line, but they only really serve the one thing (or at least I don't know the secret menu), so you just pick size.

yo, does the vi get warm while doing casual shooting?
I didn’t notice it. It was also ambient like 5C outside. Even when running video it wasn’t really a problem for me

I’ve seen other reviewers say they got over an hour recording 4k before battery died with no overheating, unlike the x100V which they said overheated in like 10 minutes.
@@ramblingcameraman990 There's one review of a guy who went to Africa and he said it was getting pretty hot. I think I'm gonna wait for user reviews. Gotta keep loving my X-T4 for now :)
@@ThorenTravels yeah I’m sure recording continuous 4k/6k in very hot environments it would overheat. Most cameras do if they don’t have a built in fan like GH6/S5II. Although I definitely plan to use mine for video, I wouldn’t expect to be able to record continuously in hot environments like a wedding ceremony sitting in hot sun or anything.

Is there any comparable camera that gives us Kodak emulation, or is even natively similar looking to kodak? I prefer the look of Kodak film.
There are a lot of custom recipes online you can put in yourself. Would be cool if Kodak did an integration now that fujifilm isn’t really making film, but probably unlikely since they were competitors for so long

When people say they use a film simulation, does that mean the photos you're showing in this video is straight out of camera with no other edits?
Yah, it’s just built into the camera as a look. Only effects the jpg though

I did some auto perspective, but other than that they’re straight out of camera. I think I bumped the exposure on 1 of them as well
