I’m impressed with your family and the way you cope with everything! Do you know that we consume the potatoes skin in Mexico and it’s a delicious stuffing for tacos with corn tortillas? Do you use some of this kind of things (skins and leaves, etc) in your daily cooking? Best regards!
I love soup! I make it even in summer! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 My favorite soup is beef and vegetables. If I lived in Australia I for sure say hello if I ran into you. But don’t see myself going to Australia anytime soon.
I watched this today and decided on this chilly day in Brisbane to make the chicken noodle soup. Am looking forward to eating it for dinner. Thank you!!
tip i learnt dont buy chopped tomatoes buy plun tomatoes empty in the pot and snip the green end of and chop them in chopped tinns you get all the rubishy ends in the tim its what ios left over from them making pasata and all the ends end up in cans doenst take long and so much nicer kathy uk xxx
P.S. My soup is my version of Mexican Beef Soup which is called Caldo De Res. I use small little beef riblets, red skinned potatoes with skin on, a Mexican squash called Calabaza Squash winter squash or pumpkin like squash cabbage, carrots, onions, corn on the cob. I also use beef bone broth and beef broth. You can use whatever veggies you like sometimes I will add broccoli and bell peppers 🫑 just depends on how much I want to make. I make it usually in a 8 quart pot which can last like 4 or 5 days. The longer it’s leftover the better it tastes.
How much water did you put in the slow cooker? And what is considered a "gentle heat" because it is either high or low on my cooker so I'm not really sure...and I really want to make this as it looks so hearty
@@TheBonellFamily its ok hun my spelling is awful hun is way you said 8 snow peas and 16 green beans just foundit funny looked realy nice all your cooking does xxxx
@@TheBonellFamily It wasn't meant to be a "nice comment" it was intended the way it was took...you put recipes out there and yes you put the vegies and even then I query that because you show red onions but then use brown so the video was cut...but you don't give measurements for water or broth???? What about the split peas, how much? A cup; two cups??? And as for your "gentle heat" what was that suppose to mean???? High Low? I cooked it on low for the 90 mins and it was a disaster...you got the comment you deserve as far as Im concerned

Recipes look good. Hi from Utah USA
You should try adding a can of creamed corn to your chicken soup, so so yummy 🤤❤
Sounds good

Vegetable soup with no onion? Interesting--I'll try this.
Onion powder
I can't eat raw or cooked onions they bother my stomach

My thoughts too. Not trying to be critical but all soup (IMO) needs onion and stock. And all veg diced to the same size.
@@kerrypapworth1526 I missed the addition of onion powder--so the flavor is in there. I do want to try this but may use "real" onion myself.
what a persist ingredence 5 snow peas 16 green beans
Not quite sure what you were trying to write there ??
But the number of ingredients is what was given to me in the recipe

You lost my interest at the peas......gag, barf!! I make hamburger soup with hamburger, potatoes, carrots and green beans, cooked in tomato juice.
Next time give measurements....why put out a meal and not be clear about how much???? Meal ruined....thanks for nothing
That's not a nice way to comment.
