- Shakira's sons seem to be following in her musical footsteps! On Thursday, the "Hips Don't Lie" songstress surprised fans when 9-year-old Milan and 7-year-old Sasha joined in on her performance of her hit "Acróstico" at the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards. Later in the show, Shakira was seen embracing her boys in the audience, and when she accepted the award for Song of the Year with Bizarrap for "BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53" she revealed that she promised the pair that she would be happy, and that they would have a mother who will laugh because they deserve it. Towards the end of the award ceremony, the duo, who the 46-year-old shares with her ex-partner, Gerard Piqué, was seen cheering on their mom from their seats as she performed again, and this time she seemingly sent them love from the stage as she blew kisses and formed a heart with her hands.

People can criticize all they want saying shes a bad example for her kids for singing these songs, but honestly I only see 2 boys full of love and pride for their mom. We all are outsiders in this show, those boy's huge smiles, on the other hand just tell how a healthy relationship she has with them ❤❤❤

We all know she got cheated on but her boys have seen her with her heart broken from the first row. I'm so touched she promised them to "be happy and laugh wholeheartedly because that's what they deserve".

Nobody thinking about that lady tf singers been doing this since forever n they didn't actually perform on stage with her. Unlike blue I've her kids are actually in the making to potentially become professional musicians. The younger son just performed a duet playing the piano and singing live in an actual show on his own not in his mother's show. And the older one has done multiple shows already as the drummer. They not doing no I want to be in my mom's spotlight they're really working on being real musicians bc they have been influenced by her so this has nothing to do with Beyonce and all to do with their adoration for their mother who's one of the greatest human beings on earth. Beyonce and her daughter are about attention not passion for the craft that they all 3 seem to share. Just like shakira they've decided to pursue music and are taking it seriously EARLY.
