Thank you Daniel for this much needed comparison video! I have recently started working with carts and to see the rs and rls next to each other and have them compared really helps set mental notes for me. Blessings to you and your family brother. Thank you for all you do to grow this community and the information you give us!
GAVIN!!!! I am greatly appreciative of the time you take out of your day to drop comments and to show your support to my channel! I am glad that I was able to help you get a better understanding on RL's vs RS's tattoo needles. I don't have the correct words to express my gratitude towards you but what I can say is that I am grateful for you and I appreciate you! I also am curious, If I may. What needles were you using before cartridges?
@DanielYuck I am grateful for the time and dedication you put into the work you do and the knowledge you give us. You are appreciated my friend! I am happy to answer your question- once I had gotten my first real machine I started with Drawgonhawk needlebars. I used a LOT of the 14rl as my goals are in the traditional and neotraditional realm of things. Your use of cartridges really showcased how easy they are with quick changing and that really stuck with me. I got some 14rs and 14rl cartridges and have been having a lot of fun with them. They do feel a good deal different from the bars and are really cool. In the future I was hoping to incorporate both needlebar and cartridge with rotarymachine and pen respectively, but that is definitely in the FUTURE.
Irish!!!!! I feel like I understood this haha in the most complex way. If I am reading it the same way it's being relayed you are correct!!! haha I am grateful I can help you in a better direction! Thank you for your continued support! You are greatly appreciated.
Just the video I was looking for !! Thank you so much!!! Very informative and well explained! I did want to ask if you know if any needle cartridge can be used with the dragonhaw fold pro ? Question 1 Answer : Yellow is a Round liner , Light grey is a Round shader Question 2 Answer : Left purple is a Round shader , Right purple is a Round liner Question 3 Answer : Blue is a Round liner, Purple is a Round shader Question 4 Answer : Left yellow is a Round line , Right yellow is a Round shader I have probably got all of these wrong but its a fun exercise to do and I can not wait to find out the answers :D
NEON!!!!!! I am grateful I am able to help give you a better understanding about RL's & RS's. To answer your quiz questions you were spot on with 3, number 2 is the opposite. RS is on the right and RL is on the left. Congratulations!!!! Well done Neon! You Go! For the Dragonhawk mast fold pro, if it is the same machine I am thinking of, we can use most needle cartridges on the market. I rarely come across machines that require a different size cartridge versus what most of the industry is putting out, unless it says it in the description.
man can you give me some tips on how to use this thick liner when it comes to corners like when 2 lines meet using a shader how to make the intersection crisp and pointed. appriciate it man awesome vid as usual. heads up from bangkok
Thank you for the kind feedback and support Ragnar! You are appreciated. This is a great question! I love CNC needles from the Police needles, I love the RHEIN needles, and my favorites are the Stigma & Quelle needles from the CNC family brands. I have never tried ambition needles besides the TREX and those are good too from the configurations I have tried for the TREX needles.

With the new needle cartridges I’m loving some round shaders to line with I wana try a hollow liner or whatever there called
Shader were “R, L, R, R”. And Liner were “L, R, L, L”. I hope. lol. Perfectly explained! Mark 1 question off my list. 😂😂.

The same as you would with a liner
Too confirm, if stipple shading, you use a liner?
Great video 👍
Thank you Marieve! I appreciate you , your time and your continued support.
Awesome video!!
Whats your favorite brand of niddles cnc or ambition?
Thank you for the kind feedback and support Ragnar! You are appreciated.

to shade in a small area i can use a 3 RS?
Looks like the liners are all on the left may be wrong but that’s how it looks to me on the video
Kind of hard to tell though was watching on a small screen lol
Oooo Very Close!
Almost 100% besides the 2nd groupings. The RS is on the left and the RL is on the right.
I appreciate you watching my video and taking the time to drop a comment. I greatly appreciate your time and support.
Right is rl
Ohhh very close!
Thank you for taking the time to drop a comment. You are appreciated.
Cartridges.... :barf:
Haha Thanks for stopping by and dropping a comment anyway.
@DanielYuck I have been questioning my loyalty to traditional machines. Rotary have gotten better and battery packs are tempting.
