    I've always wanted to move to New Mexico when I retired. I've been retired for awhile now. You've inspired me to move forward with my dream. Thank you!

      I'm considering moving to New Mexico as well. I'm manifesting my dream. I, too, am retired.
      Good luck to you! 😊

      Good luck to that; although born in Cuba, my wife and I just left Santa Fe, after 36 years. My wife's family hail from Gallup and southern Arizona, and we still love Santa Fe, but it's a very expensive city to retire to, unless you're well off, period. Don't even think if you're on SS BENEFITS.

    New México, is so beautiful. But. It is very expensive to live in Santa Fe. and in other cities there is a lot of crime and that is very sad 😢

    I know the best places to live in Hobbs and Las Cruces. In Santa Fe I love Avenida Las Campanas and Calle Princesa Juana and anywhere near Villa Linda Mall.

    My wife and I are very interested in moving to Santa Fe...BUT - we're concerned about water scarcity. Is Santa Fe more resilient than other parts of New Mexico?

    • @Livinginsantafe
      @Livinginsantafe  Месяц назад

      Water is a moving target. There are areas that have problems with water scarcity, and there are areas where it’s not a concern.
      We can guide you through that… you just have to share with us what you’re looking for and what you want to avoid.

    The video is interesting and so is your speech. When you speak Spanish you pronounce your " T's" but when you speak English you don't. Just an observation....

    Pronouncing the Spanish names of neighborhoods/developments with a heavy Spanish accent is not only kinda stupid, it also makes it very difficult for the majority of your viewers.

      There are lots of people who move here from out of state and get their license and start selling real estate. I’m sure they will pronounce all of the subdivisions just the way you like.
      We will continue to pronounce street names, subdivisions, and anything else that is a Spanish or Native American word properly.
      And in doing so, we will find people that appreciate that and want to work with us.
      It’s ok if we are not for you, you can hire a Realtor based on their pronunciation instead of their real estate expertise.
      If you do decide to move to Santa Fe, it would be nice if you would take the time to have some respect and learn how to pronounce things properly over time.
