surprisingly ... everywhere about Linton reviews that it does not have enough high frequencies and airiness, but in this case there are both high frequencies and air ... it turns out that the Lintons need a good amplifier, and then they will sound like they should ... that I I heard it here, I liked the sound, but again, slow songs with a minimum number of instruments can be played adequately by many devices, even budget ones...
hi alex, thanks for your thought. yes, the lintons don't play with everything, they need a good amplifier/power amp to make the most of it, now as they are, they have everything, nothing is missing, and they sound great. I'm happy with the demo, I'll post some videos with the orchestra.😘

Ciao, nice setup. Im thinking to buy this A26. I tried smsl vmv d2 and returned it, too much smoothness in mids. Do yoy feel that A26 boosts the midrange? Maybe it becomes less transparent due to soft mids? Some say midbase is kind of less punchy.
Your objective opinion would be highly appreciated cheers
hello my friend, thanks for your thought. absolutely not, the a26 is an amazing dac from what little i've heard it, it's a week old, it still has to burn well, but you can already hear that it's very engraved, the basses are tight, but they are there, thanks also to the power amplifier I have, the mids and highs are felt all right ... very beautiful three-dimensionality and soundstage, and very organic, on the instruments it gets along like the x26 pro I had. buy for sure my friend, not you you will regret it, then you will let me know.😘
@@Vincenzo.M I must try it out and I will definitely let you know. I currently own a burson D160 and have tied sinxer pro dac and smsl vmv d2. I returned both as I find my own to sound more pleasing, even with less every dimensionality and detail. I feel confident about A26 , and from your sound sample, it sounds linear. Enjoy!

Which DAC is better for you X26pro or A26?
They are both top of the range, the A26 sounds a bit better, it has a LAN input, that's all, but I repeat, they are equivalent

hello my friend,thank you for your thought.So,as you well know,there is always better out there,let's say that (for me)this is a very good dac in my chain,sounds good,rich,detailed,fast,you always need to compare things (unfortunately) but for me it remains a best bay under 2000 dollars
