I love your approach to teenagers. I hate all the "teenager-bashing" that is so popular online. It's a difficult period first and foremost for the teens and they deserve all our understanding and patience. I work with teens - don't know what it will be like when my kids become teenagers but I like seeing them grow up and become their own people.
Where were you when my four were ALL TEENS? :) This was awesome and spot on. Also--next up-- Let's play "let's see what we can find in their room after they move to college, even though they were supposed to clean and pack before they left" (And if you think they're actually going to come back for the jar with the preserved snake floating in formaldehyde, yes really, the sound equipment, or old clothes, you're cute. You're really cute).
