Marion you leave those butterflies on that embossed card! It’s stunning!!!!! You’re just so used to doing the simple cards. That card is fantastic!!!!! It’s got dimension, sparkle and color! Just perfect! You can send that to me, I’ll take it! lol! 😂 I really love it! One of the best you’ve done! Out of lint roller! Wow!
@@marionemberson oh no my friend! It is just exactly what it needed. That’s the second top favorite of all you’ve done- tied for first place with the Christmas sparkles and modge podge and sequins! I think you should step out of your box a little and start adding a couple or 3 techniques together like on the butterfly card. It was just beautiful!!!
I think some of the cheapest ones still are rectangles. But have to agree about the angled sheets as being annoying. I got some smaller sheets about half the length and they are still squared not angled. Who would have thought to roll your lint rollers over a mess of glitter picked up on it to use as a media for die cutting. AND of course WHY NOT !!!! Luv your thinking outside the box let alone coloring out side the lines approach to crafting. Luv luv luv and hugs to you too for sharing with us.
Those butterflies turned out so beautifully! I can’t believe it with just lint roller! I’m not a big butterfly fan which is hard because there’s thousands of detailed butterflies. But I have a dragonfly I think I can use! I want to try these. I need to use my glitters. But buying online some didn’t turn out like I thought. Too neon like.
When you peeled the lint roller i was telling you oh you could die cut using it😂 and then you did😁 i love them both, once again you teach us something and in a fun way❤ I wonder if your ears ring from so many people talking about you i know I do with my crafty friends. We all love you ❤
Both beautiful cards, I do love the butterflies - gorgeous. Thanks Marion for another great video with the usual laughs and have a wonderful week. Hugs xxx
Great ideas for glitter use. Did you (or anyone else) see a butterfly possibility by putting together the two large floral images? When you placed them down in the carrier sheet to add the glitter I thought that was what you were going to do. I thought what a beautiful butterfly it would make.
Love, love your experiments. You can sure cheer me up in a second. My order came today. Great timing. I want to copy a few with my toner printer. We will see.
I agree on the tape roller! My other ones were one sheet. I just bought a new one with refills and it’s the ones that pull crooked! And mine was not cheap.
What a fabulous idea! I’ll have to see if I bought sparkles in colors. I bought so many embossing colors I might not have. But I have a bunch of beautiful glitters from art glitter I think it’s called. I never use them so this is great!
Marion, loving the tips and techniques. Your Tim Holtz butterflies, do you have the another set? It looks like you have one from Detailed Butterflies, Sizzix 661182, in with your Mini ones, Sizzix 661802. It was only recently I realised there were 2 sizes, the mini ones the images are diagonal, the larger ones are vertical. All beautiful, especially with sticky roller glitter wings. ❤
Thanks Loretta, the inks and waffle brushes are in the video description (Catherine Pooler inks, my fav) and the big brush is the sweeper brush from Tonic 🥰🥰🥰
Last video I commented so anyone interested in the first package of Julie Hickeys sentiments that there were a large amount that were extremely tiny- older ppl will never be able to read such as my 86,84 yr old parents. I’d like to update. Yesterday I found a purpose for them because any card I make they will never show up on. But, they are great little additions to the back of the card where you put “hand stamped by”, or on the back on the flap or just under of an envelope such as “thinking of you” and a tiny floral . The bigger sizes are easy to use, but the minuscule ones I honestly thought were a complete waste. Especially foiled because there’s not enough to see it. But they are really cute added on envelopes, even next to the address, or anywhere, next to a sentiment strip we all have that can also be foiled and added on the inside blank side of the card. So I hope this will be helpful if you don’t quite know what to do with such teeny little words or flowers.
@@marionemberson your cards are very simple with a lot of empty space so the teeny little ones don’t get as lost although they still would not be proportionate to a bigger image. I’m talking about that very first pack where they’re an inch long and 1/8” wide. But they are great next to your hand stamped by , or envelopes or I did a card with a foiled TE strip and added a small flower next to it on the opposite side inside the card. So now I like them since I figured out what to do with them. They just aren’t the main attraction for most cards because they get lost.
Thanks Cindy, I’m not always organised as I don’t often know what I’m going to do, i get inspired to do something else as I’m doing another thing, I prefer it that way, I don’t practice anything and so many people have appreciated that, as that how most of us craft, my YT journey is for me as well as you, I’m glad you enjoy my techniques 🤗🤗🤗

Rubbing the excess off is like working with gilding flakes. It looks like you’re rubbing it all off
Ohh it is… it does look like it, but I promise it’s all there in its sparkly glory 🥰🥰🥰
Oh, I could see it. It is beautiful!
I hate to write bad comments BUT, I really enjoy your techniques but I think if you were more organized to just quickly show what you need us to see.

Oh Colleen, I’m sorry I frustrated you, it’s the way I work, I don’t sugar coat anything, but thanks for your feedback 🥰🥰
