Wonderful! Just what I needed to see! I have about 3 stamp, die, stencil sets I’ve never used. Idk if I should die cut first after I stamp and then stencil or do it all flat first. I’ve seen a die cut floral done first then stenciled and I looked great! So I’m happy to see this! That is enormous!!!

I had a magicals powder background that I sprinkled on the ultra high on in white and loved it! I knew I would and bought it in silver too! I have the pearls in my cart at SSS. Just have to wait for money. My sons getting married so I have to save for that too. But love the ultra highs!!!

A gentle hint 4 stamping with clear stamps...put a piece of foam under where u r stamping 2 give it a bit of cushioning. U r great 2 watch

Oh Marion! Since you’re new to the heavy cover weight Neenah, there are wonderful sanding blocks that work excellent on removing opps marks of ink! SSS carries them. You can use nail sanding blocks but the ones from SSS are the best!!! There’s so many layers to that paper because it’s so thick you can sand a lot of to remove those. I found the blocks worked better than mono eraser and also work for rough cuts from a trimmer or the fold line on that thick cardstock sometimes needs a little sanding.

@@marionemberson I’m really glad! I was very happy when I started using it because I make very ornate front panels sometimes and these Neenah cover weight bases always stand up! I can’t stand it when a card won’t stand up and falls down!

Hi, Marian! My favorite video that I have seen on RUclips was the one where you made the most beautiful card I have ever seen. You had an Altenew stencil of I believe a peony that was large (similar to the one you used on this video) that you did in a grey scale. I looked for it to give you the title but couldn’t find it. I have been searching for that stencil ever since. Anyway, you have another stencil that you appeared to enjoy and did not give you as many problems.
About your issue with the stamp,I have seen others say when you lay a large die down you need to lift up each side towards the center to release any air bubbles. As you lay it back down you gently use your other hand to smooth down the stencil while you kind of roll it back in place. Hope that helps.
As you were looking for your pressure tool I kept saying, “use the brayer!”… guess you didn’t hear me 🤭.

It's so fun to see what you've done with this stamp! I recall seeing it and thinking it really is quite huge, but I love how you've split it into four cards! Honestly, if the first outline goes smoothly (😜), it's a time saver. You will be inking a stencil whether it's one little tiny section or the entire stencil. Once you have your assembly line set up, I think it goes quickly. Of course, even with some tiny little mistakes here and there, you still make it look so easy! Now I'm debating whether I need this entire set! Talk about an influencer!!! 💸💸💸🤣

An old tip for block stamping, stamp with a catalog underneath, it gives great cushion so it stamps off everywhere without skips. A hard surface doesn’t work as well.,

You certainly sound a lot better Marion, a quick thought why didn’t you cut the card to the size of the stamping wheel as the stamp fits the top plate? Those stencils would have me walking away several times, sleeping done for sticking with it 😁😁
