Absolutely beautiful. I never thought of using kitchen foil with my alcohol inks, and then when you used them with the embossing folders…. Wow… how beautiful. ❤

If your alcohol ink lids get stuck soak them with some 70-90% alcohol ……it re-activates the dried pigment and resin and makes the lid unstuck. Also wipe your bottle tops with alcohol wipes before you re lid them and you won’t have to unstick them next time😉 big hugs you’re awesome 💕💕💕💕

I love our chats too. These are oh so very lovely! Here in the US, we sell foil tape, in the heating/cooling department of the hardware store. It is used to wrap pipes but is great to use having the adhesive backing, eliminating one process and no wind issues! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

What a fab team you make!!!! You might also inquire about powdered plumbers putty, most excellent for casting! 🤩

These are the nicest cards made with foil & embossed I believe I have seen. I think the spray tack makes a big difference in how the foil lays. So few wrinkles and it is snug to the cardstock. I would like a piece of pretty ribbon looped & tucked under the sentiment. Very nice.

Love your DIY blender felt, the furniture pads that protects hardwood floors from scuffing work also. I just used some double-sided tape to strengthen the adhesive and added some Velcro to stick to the blender block. Also they are washable and they have worked like a charm. I literally refuse to pay the price that they are in the stores. I don't know about you, but I would rather have something that works then pay for a name. Some are necessary evils but if you can DIY something I say do it and then share it with the rest of us LOL

Those are very cool cards... I've only ever tried this the opposite way, rubbing alcohol ink onto an already embossed foil card. Might have to revisit this technique. ..🤔👍

I'm surprised the alcohol inks dried on the foil! and what a gorgeous result! Absolutely love that! And surprised the foil didn't tear when you used the embossing folder!
That’s the joy of alcohol inks they dry really quickly on non porous surfaces, I’ve never had a tear yet, fingers crossed it stays that way 🥰🥰🥰

Pinks, with yellows, with orange or greens into blues into purples. Following the color basics kind of. Then you know they’ll work together until you get more comfy. Alcohol ink backgrounds are my all time favorite since I first saw one. It’s really the only thing I think that I don’t own because I have so many new supplies that I must perfect my skill with. I don’t get much time in my happy place, so I work with all the amazing things I have when opportunity😅 comes. It one day I look forward more than any other tech-nique to learn alcohol this and drips !
