Thanks 🙏. I love “the Saint”. It has suspense and a dash of humor. I was only 2 years old when these mysteries were recorded and the sound is still great. Nice not to have the profanity like the modern productions of today. Please send rain 🌧 to Salt Lake City and Ashland, Oregon.

WOW! You got a recording with news at the beginning! I had no idea the Korean war was covered to the point that actual troop movement was reported to the American public! Fascinating. That's a great little find.

This was a news bulletin concerning the outset of the Korean War (which had begun over a week before)- and the announcer is none other than NBC's New York staff announcer on duty that evening, DON PARDO.

As heard on Sunday nights at 7:30pm(et), as a summer replacement for "THE PHIL HARRIS- ALICE FAYE SHOW".
