This place goes back a long way with me. I used to come here back around 1979-80 with my friend who lived around the corner. Just a kid then!

I'm from Denver but this has been my go to place in the Upper Haight for years. Each visit I make it a point to go there, the only times I don't is when the lines are too long or I can't find parking so it is best to go early.
I was surprised there was no wait at 10:30am on a Saturday
@@JfCLAthat is surprising! The Saturday mornings I drove by there was usually a line. That place is a cherished landmark in my mind.

Your loss 🤣 didn’t see anything like what you’re describing. That’s the problem of listening to other people and letting that determine where you go. I don’t care what the politics of a city are, I go where I want. I’ve had fun in Mississippi, too. Try it some time!
