hat super funktioniert, nachdem ich fast einen Tag auf Fehlersuche war.
Entscheidend war dabei , dass das Papier über die Klappe für die Direktzufuhr problemlos eingezogen wurde, nicht aber aus dem Papierfach. Trotz gründlicher Reinigung und Anrauhung der Transportrollen blieb es auf halber Strecke hängen. Vorausgegangen war eine Überfüllung des Papierfaches mit unsanftem Einschub
Hat Spaß gemacht, dann endlich doch schnelle Reparatur. Danke aus Germany!!
Jo, nur leider hat er die Feder komplett ausgehangen, die sollte man schon wieder richtig reinsetzen, so dass sie eben jenen weißen Hebel spannt, sie wird normalerweise über den Dorn an der Papierkassette in die richtige (wie hier im Video gezeigt) Position gedrückt 👍

Thank you very much for your help! It did work, even though my printer is a slightly different model (DCP-7065DN). The most difficult part was figuring out how to open the side panel, but after that, it was a piece of cake. Plus, we could fix the position of the little plastic thing without taking off the "roll". Again, thank you so much! :)
Fantastic, did what you showed, and printer is now working again, hooray! Wasn't sure the problem would be the same as the one you are fixing. Biggest issue I had was removing the side cover, was a bit stiffer than expected. Need to have flatbed scanner up as well.

Forgot to say: I used these instructions for a DCP-7055. Everything was as in the video. Most hard part was taking the plastic cover off. Lots of plastic tabs keeping it in place.

Worked for me thanks. There is no need to remove the steppermotor or spring, just pull back the spring a bit and work the plastic free like shown. BTW: It makes me wonder, why is that spring there, it doesn't seem to have a function besides getting the paper pickup disturbed.

Wow- my HL-2270DW had the no paper error. Using your video, i notice the spring was on wrong side of the sensor part. I was able to move it over to the outer side of the part without removing the mechanism above it (the round part). BOOM thank you so much

I was really hoping this would fix my printing problem because the gears were no longer lined up until I followed your instructions. Unfortunately, it didn’t work. My printer starts to pull the paper in, but then it sounds like it struggles to get it fully through the machine, which causes it to jam. Could it may be the paper tray that needs replacing? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I could also send you a video of what it does when this happens. I took it while I had the side cover off. TIA!

By the way, why this happens so frequently with this printer? Is a user realted problem or there's nothing you can do to prevent this from happening? Is there a sort of trigger that makes that part moving to a different position? It sounds like a design flow as well as a design feature by default or other I onestly ignore.
