    The very first thing I suggest is checking the fuel, if it's more than a couple weeks old dump it out in a container so you can inspect it for dirt, water and staleness,
    Why do this first, if the gas has water in it and you pull it many times trying to start it(even if you were to get it started) there is now that water going through the engine without any oil and potentially causing damage and if you don't get it started now that water is in everything causing rust and corrosion especially if you don't repair it for a days, weeks or months thus creating even more damage.
