I agree with a lot of these moments, but Korra stopping the nuclear Spirit Cannon while saving Kuvira is still a moment that gives me chills to this day.
Personally, I don't know. I feel like the last season was a bit too rushed to show Korra emotionally and psychologically heal from what Zaheer had done unto her. I mean, yes, she bent the metal out of her body in a self-healing way and stuff but I still felt like something was missing in order for her to be back to the hyperactive tomboy Nick had introduced me to.
Regardless of what is presented here I want to show my list: 1. Zaheer's and Korra's conversation in the spirit world 2. Zaheer escaping from prison 3. Jinora's airbending mastery ceremony 4. Korra telling Zuko that Iroh is in the spirit world 5. Ghazan destroying Ba Sing Se's walls 6. Team Avatar's arrival at Ba Sing Se 7. Varrick reminds everyone of everything he did for Bolin, Korra, Asami and Mako :D 8. Korra's return after opening the southern portal 9. Korra pulling out the poison 10. Avatar Wans bending training montage
I always thought that their prison conversation was underrated. You have two former enemies putting aside their differences, while showing respect for another. Then the villain actually helps her through an emotional breakthrough, while she gains a different perspective on him(how comfortable he is in the spirit world).
Airbending being brought back into the world of Avatar will always be my favorite moment in Legend of Korra. This is the greated accomplishment Korra has ever done in my opinion; without it we would have had to wait generations for that to take place and it would only be limited to Aang's family.

Same here! I would've loved to see Aang meet his grand kids and the airbending being brought back too. He probably would be crying happy tears, because it was just him for a long time till Tenzen came along.
I'm a little annoyed that most people ignore Amon. He has an incredibly cool image. And his first meeting with Tarlock in the hut, when we understand that he is not affected by blood bending and with his phrase "I am the solution" is worthy of a separate place in the top
I wished the series had been guaranteed for multiple seasons from the get-go because I would’ve loved to see him as a Slade-like villain from Teen Titans who in fact DOESNT have bending ability and truly does want to take down benders and the Avatar. It would’ve been so cool to see him reappear as a villain or an unlikely ally as Korra moved through the series. He could’ve lent his services to her while trying to take down Zaheer since a blended world of spirit and material wouldn’t have been on his list of things he wanted to happen. Perhaps a small moment where Korra and Amon have a heart to heart, Amon reveals he wishes he had Korra’s naïveté (optimism), Korra wishing she had Amon’s ability to know what people want of him and how to give it... He gave off such strong vibes of being a character who could’ve been expanded to do so much more, but it didn’t happen and that makes me sad.

I also had my own theories about where the story with him might have gone. His ideas could spread beyond the borders of the Republican city. So in the future there could be a state created by people without bending. And these contradictions could have overlapped with conflicts from other seasons of the show. And the sides of the next confrontation would be more than korra and her antagonist. Other antagonists could also be feuding, like Akatsuki and Orochimaru
Talyn has time I feel like if the show was originally planned for multiple seasons, they would still have Amon be a Bloodbender and pulling the strings of his movement. It’s that whole betrayal to his own cause which made him even more sinister than before that moment. The ending probably wouldn’t have been Amon losing face by suddenly waterbending, but getting away at that moment to regroup instead of running away with his brother (which lead to his death). Korra soon learning how to restore bending would’ve been what hit the Equalist movement the hardest, as Amon’s greatest crimes can now be undone, but would still leave Amon and his equalists to continue fighting for the cause. Amon had something to believe in, and his cause was actually in the right, but as with most good intentioned villains that ideology was taken too far in the extreme.
Amon was the best villain, Unalaq was boring and underdeveloped, Zaheer was great but he kinda came out of nowhere and Kuvira was also kinda underdeveloped and a bit generic
While I agree that Zaheer’s battle is my favorite moment (in both shows actually). Seeing Korra energy bend the weapon and opening a new spirit portal, gives my goosebumps every. Single. Time! It was just so good and shows how powerful Korra is!

A short moment I love is during the episode where they save the Beifong family in season 4 and Toph shortly confronts Kuvira telling her how she gives metalbenders a bad name. It's such a short and quick moment, but gives me chills everytime I watch it knowing Toph invented metalbending. Such a great series and so many awesome moments.
The swamp episode in atla was so creepy but now that tophs in there it has a nice feeling to it I always found it weird that the earth kings and earth queens aren’t benders but the royal fire nation people have bending abilities

I think the music is what constantly gets me hyped up for Bolin lavabending. I love Bolin and seeing him grow is always awesome along with the coolest bending ever but that music is everything.
Honestly what else could’ve been #1. Zaheer’s the best villain, the battle is the second best in both shows after Aang vs Ozai and it really demonstrates Korra being at her most vulnerable really well.

When I first watched this, I was in complete utter shock!!!! So many episodes got me in the wow factor!!! Never thought a Nickelodeon masterpiece would need a sequel but it did live to the title in a awesome state!! I love both of them!!! Like Sokka says, Boom Baby!!!!

Jinora getting her tattoos always gets me. Not only is it the end of an incredible arc that is very emotionally charged, but I remember seeing her, how she looked like Aang. The living proof of Aang's legacy surviving through the ages, his family and everything he's achieved by living his life. Korra is a bit of Aang surviving through time, but his family is too, more importantly than anything. The come back of the Air Nomads as a culture, as a group, as an existing force to the world is just... so incredible when you love Aang and you just look back at ATLA and how alone Aang felt when he had lost everything.
I feel like they are both better in different ways. While Aang and Ozai’s battle was built up longer, Korra and Zaheer actually interacted more and had opposing ideologies that they conversed about. While Aang Vs Ozai seemed more evenly matched as they consistently changed blows, it was a real curbstomp once Aang went into the Avatar State. Korra was completely in the Avatar State and Zaheer spent more time keeping his distance but still got some brutal blows in and there’s a time limit with Korra fighting both the poison and Zaheer. Though the Ozai fight is longer, and more combative, I do personally prefer the Zaheer fight due to all the previously mentioned factors.
They were pacifists, but also deadly Monk Gyoso killed a number of Fire Nation Soldiers during the hunt for Aang, also the monk that Zaheer looked up to might have been an aggressive Airbender too
I'm pleasantly surprised with the first choice. After seeing beginnings was 3rd and korrasami was second I was left scratching my head as to what would he first. The zaheer arc stretched past the 3rd season. And the moment when she meets zaheer in the 4th season is beautiful animated and powerful.
Believe me Zaheer and his Crew was dangerous and in the words of Uncle Iroh, they needed to be brought down. Also, I hope it's confirmed soon but I find poetic that both Sokka and Suyin took out a combustion Firebender, I hope Sokka and Suyin are Father and Daughter😁👍💯

Korra meeting Aang's spirit and entering The Avatar State for the first time was such a beautiful moment and it still makes me emotional every time I see it.
@@staywoke-wk4nx aang had to fight opponents who had never fought an airbender before in a time of primitive bending styles. korra had to fight multiple skilled benders in a time where advanced bending (metal, lightning, lava, blood etc) was much more prominent, had to fight the anti-avatar, and had to overcome ptsd and physical disability. aang would've had his @$$ whooped too
I just love atla and lok, it has very much impacted my life in the most positive ways, it inspired me to learn martial arts, self acceptance of myself and to be confident with my identity and who i am, i truly love these shows and highly recommend to get into it, its always so uplifting to watch.
I think Korra had lots of Avatar Kyoshi in her personality: They r hot headed They don’t really think things through They don’t give up They r both LGBTQ+
We really need to give it up for Janet Varney, who somehow makes all of Korra's crying, grunting, exerting and pain sound completely believable and real.
Hell, I don’t have to choose between both shows, two of them are just epic in their journey, seasons, and action sequences. The mature themes are indeed present, which makes it a great change of pace.
I don't get why this show gets so much hate, sure it's not even close to being as good as the masterpiece known as Avatar: The Last Airbender but I still think this is a really good show.
One very good moment is when Zuko is revealed alongside his dragon. Considering everything that he have “lost” in the beginning, and how he change is amazing. The Zuko we see there is the total opposite of the one we see in the beginning of the show. That shows how his travel whit Aang whit the sun warrior marks him too to the point to protect the dragons and maybe grown their population again.
I feel like Varrik proposing to Zhu Li should be an honourable mention. I literally did a dance of glee because of how cute it was “Will you do the thing with me for the rest of our lives?”
I am man in my 30's and I watched finished this series in 1 day. I was hooked! the message it carries, the animation and the characters. Propably can be considered as the greatest cartoon series ever
I burst into tears when Jinora got her tattoos. She just looked so much like Aang.
It was a great heartfelt moment, Like Grandfather, Like Granddaughter.
Also I think that tear from Korra could have been Aang's Spirit crying for joy

Kuvira knew Toph invented medal bending and backed down showing she respected the woman.
I also loved when Korra removed the remaining metal, Bumi's entrance, and when the Red Lotus broke out P'li from her prison.

I'm pleasantly surprised with the first choice. After seeing beginnings was 3rd and korrasami was second I was left scratching my head as to what would he first. The zaheer arc stretched past the 3rd season. And the moment when she meets zaheer in the 4th season is beautiful animated and powerful.
The "nice to see you again twinkle toes" was so gooodddd

Also, I hope it's confirmed soon but I find poetic that both Sokka and Suyin took out a combustion Firebender, I hope Sokka and Suyin are Father and Daughter😁👍💯

Korra meeting Aang's spirit and entering The Avatar State for the first time was such a beautiful moment and it still makes me emotional every time I see it.

@@staywoke-wk4nx aang had to fight opponents who had never fought an airbender before in a time of primitive bending styles. korra had to fight multiple skilled benders in a time where advanced bending (metal, lightning, lava, blood etc) was much more prominent, had to fight the anti-avatar, and had to overcome ptsd and physical disability. aang would've had his @$$ whooped too

I just love atla and lok, it has very much impacted my life in the most positive ways, it inspired me to learn martial arts, self acceptance of myself and to be confident with my identity and who i am, i truly love these shows and highly recommend to get into it, its always so uplifting to watch.

Hell, I don’t have to choose between both shows, two of them are just epic in their journey, seasons, and action sequences. The mature themes are indeed present, which makes it a great change of pace.

I don't get why this show gets so much hate, sure it's not even close to being as good as the masterpiece known as Avatar: The Last Airbender but I still think this is a really good show.

One very good moment is when Zuko is revealed alongside his dragon.
Considering everything that he have “lost” in the beginning, and how he change is amazing. The Zuko we see there is the total opposite of the one we see in the beginning of the show. That shows how his travel whit Aang whit the sun warrior marks him too to the point to protect the dragons and maybe grown their population again.
Idky but Zaheer taking flight blew my mind. Ma boi was FLYING
Now all we need is for this series to be on netflix.

When the Legend of Korra came out i hated until after many years I decided to watch it and i have to say that I like it
and here I was expecting to see the return of airbenders as one of them.
I am man in my 30's and I watched finished this series in 1 day. I was hooked! the message it carries, the animation and the characters. Propably can be considered as the greatest cartoon series ever
