Warwick’s barrel might be because of something from old Saint Nick folklore. Tldr some people believe that the reason he’s the patron saint of children is because one day he found a pickle barrel with dismembered child corpses in it, and using the power of christ he was able to rebuild and bring the kids back to life. That creepy story’s pretty fitting for a Krampus skin, but i might be looking too hard into it

I did not care much about Warwick before, so when my boyfriend gifted me the battle pass set that comes with his Winterblessed skin, I decided to finally give him a go
Needless to say, I have successfully assimilated the Krampus mindset and now jumpscaring people and ending their killstreaks has become one of my biggest delights, naughty kids get their dragons stolen and their KDA ruined

As someone from the south of the globe, its christmas here and its 32ºc outside, I think a end of year skinline mixing beach and christmas aesthetics would be funny af
You forgot to mention that Swain looks a bit like Rasputin, the priest that is the reason every movie has a disclaimer that "it's fictional, all ressemblances are purely coincidental."
Also, i think Snow moon is not an holiday skinline. I'm pretty sure they released them in the middle of June.
i honestly think you undersell the prestige warwick, the effects are gorgeous and the skin is so well made. and while yes i dont like that they just put characters in a suit and call it a day, i have to say this is probably the best one in that class of skins
Yeah, I'm actually a big fan of prestige winter blessed ww. In game it just looks so sleek and cool. But I'll admit, I also never really cared for Krampus-styled anything, so prestige ww being less krampus like was actually a bonus to me
It's just so obvious that it was a repurposed crystal rose skin. So, the "winterblessed" skin name slapped there is odd. Even the skin's description.
Still glad it wasn't scrapped tho

I'm very happy with this skinline and the direction it was taken. European folk tales was something I, as an Eastern European didn't know I needed. If only there was a map to match... Or at least a rotating game mode. Even ARURF. Anything.
I love how every shaco skin is more lore relevant than the main shaco
i think winterblessed swain is a great skin and as a swain main i’m happy they didn’t age him down. but . idk his face is just so unnerving to me. i just feel like he doesn’t look like swain at all😭😭 it’s still very pretty though

Also loved the skin line, especially the chromas, really nice ones. Besides Diana I'm glad Zilean got a good skin. When his VGU comes next year(copium) it will look even more awesome
I remember way back when there was the Ice vs Fire e-sports match I don't know how many years ago, and the winning team would end up getting a skin for Diana. Back then, on some forums and among friends, I mentioned how cool it would be if we got an aurora themed Diana skin for the ice side. Fire won, so we got Infernal Diana which... imo is kinda meh xP but I did not expect an aurora Diana to become an actual thing several years down the line. Life is wild sometimes.

I hope everyone’s lead up to the special day wasn’t as stressful this year.
I liked this line. The light blue and purple go very well together and I'm never a real fan of holiday specific skins. I prefer skins that you can use more or less year round and not feel out of place.
A little late to the party, but Diana making two gifts for three leaders was exactly the point. She was testing to see if they could put their animosity aside and share the blessings of Winter.
But she secretly knew from how they presented themselves (the bio descriptions) that they would fail and she set it up to prove her point. Thus Shaco and Warwick punished them in her stead.

Also i adore the fact that swain was kept as an oldman (camille should learn a thing or two about it) AND that one of his chromas has the lovely classic xmas color scheme. Good stuff all around!

Never liked christmas/winter themed skins until now. These look amazing. specially warwick and shaco
Shaco ain't my main, but man was I stoked to get the Winter Blessed skin in the Winter Blessed Grab Bag.
I like the prestige Warwick skin cause it isn’t Champaign pink, not only that but it’s Warwick as a fun way mode which I thought was fun. The Krampus Warwick I like but the tassels take away from it for me. It looks weird and gives him a more lumpy look imo
When I first saw the Diana splash art I thought that it was a new Janna skin due to the pose and the lack of forehead ornamentation.
Its good skinline IMO. The theme music of the Winterblessed more the make up for the Chrismas vibe

About the barrel on the Warwick skin, smite has a krampus skin for Cernunnos and he also has a barrel on his back (it's more like a basket but the point is the same) to store naughty children inside. I don't think that's the inspiration or anything, I just thought it was kinda funny that there are two Krampus skins in two different mobas that both share this strange detail.
Not a moba but in dead by daylight there's a Krampus skin. With a barrel as well (with something moving inside sometimes...)

I can’t really comment on these ski lines you review simply because I am a returning player back from leagues early years. I can’t comment on the prestige Warwick skin even though I have it simply because Warwick isn’t a champion I mostly play since I just stick to ARAM. But the prestige skin gave me a reason to keep playing and eventually try him out. I also spend money on skins that i actually want unless I get the skin from a capsule or chest like both jhin skins I managed to get from them. But I do like the Warwick skin even though I have no idea if it had the pentakill animation like the empyrean pyke skin and the other winterblessed skin you mentioned

I have to raise some issues with your Warwick critiques, one with the "barrel" and the other with the gala aspect of the prestige skin
The barrel isn't a barrel, it's a basket. Like the one Krampus puts naughty kids in
And the prestige skin is obviously changing the theme of the skin to Beauty and the BEAST because he's the beast in the lore. He even has a crystal rose in the splash!

I can see why other people like them, but no I don't like this skin line. And the reason why simply comes down to I miss all the casual skin lines we used to get for champions. The ones where they're just dressed in regular people clothing. Things like the old winter/christmas theme ones where they look like they're about to get in a snowball fight, or the old worlds skins where it's literally just the champions with gamer gear. I thought that line was hilarious. Thresh with MP3 jack for a hook and USB dreads is amusing to me. I know these type of skinlines aren't DEAD but it seems like they're extraordinarily scarce with all these "epic" skinlines that are meant to make characters look super extra.

My literal only issue is that Diana got a holiday legendary after her entire existence which by Riot logic means she probably won't actually ever get a "serious" legendary like Lunar Knight or anything ever so that stings.

I think they should do the "Seasonal Skins" where they will also create a skin line about Springblessed where the particle effect will be some trees ....., Summerblessed this could be the like Lights or maybe Heat thingy (I don't know I cant explain it properly) and lastly the Autumnblessed where the skins will have the autumn leaf effects .....
