Here is an idea..how about you skip the first 6 minutes of bull shit and actually react to the damn video...shut up..we all have limited time..your wasting it..I won't watch another of your videos today and I like u...I could have watched two videos but you wasted my time..get on w it!
I’m still waiting for the new home tour!!! You promised it MONTHS ago! Not that you owe us, but still can’t wait to see!
Beef jerky is dehydrated beef with different flavors.
Jerky is lean trimmed meat cut into strips and dried to prevent spoilage. Normally, this drying includes the addition of salt to prevent bacteria growth before the meat has finished the dehydrating process
yep. Dehydrated meat.
Also, often cured in some way, such as by smoking. Different flavors are usually added.
Im so glad someone else answered this first.
Smoking meat is an art. Different wood tastes different, different spices etc
When my kids were in sports and Boy Scouts we would get 90/10 hamburger meat, mix it with jerky spices then use a cookie gun to shoot out strips on a cookie cooling rack. Put it in a dehydrator or the oven at 150 degrees and let it cook/dry until a dry chewy texture (but not too dry) and you have jerky that costs a lot less than using roast or steak.
I'm in New Braunfels quite often, and when I'm craving good fudge, cinnamon rolls, and kolaches, I visit Buc-ee's. This location has 120 gas pumps, 1,000 parking spots, and the store is 68,000 sq. feet. Buc-ee's has locations all-over Texas and has opened in many other states. ❤
Ollie's 5-year-old daughter is named JUNO, and she is just precious. I love Josh and Ollie and their channels. You can tell they have been friends since they were teenagers (maybe younger). When their wives aren't around, they still act like it. They are so much fun to watch!
They met at “Uni”.
@@JustMe-dc6ks oh, I had thought them two, and the priest whom I’ve seen in some videos, were three British siblings living in Korea.
@@gregweatherup9596 Chris is a reverend with the Church of England. His wife and Ollie's wife are sisters.
Hi Beesleys! Genuine American here, born and bred. Born in the north east of the country, New Hampshire, Lived in Connecticut for 20 years and moved to California and lived my next 40 (or so) years. Then I moved to Florida a year ago and this was my first encounter with Buc'ees. I was 67 years old before I ever heard of the place.
America is so huge and diverse that not all of us know of all of what's here and available.
Anyway, we (America) would be honored to host you and show you around to what we know, but don't think that what we know is all that there is! Part of the beauty of America is that we surprise even ourselves!
I was born in VT, lived in CT 18 years, moved to CA and six months ago moved to WA. Our lives sort of lined up.
Buc-ee's is the gas station, the Buckeyes (the nut of the Buckeye tree) is the Ohio State mascot.
Brutus The Buckeye
TIL that a buckeye is NOT a bird but a nut (I guess I never really looked at the Ohio mascot... just me over here saying "buckeye" like I knew what it was! 🤣
To make it more confusing the university of Wisconsin mascot is Bucky (pronounced the same as Buc'ee's, also what I named one of my dogs after. Lol)
And they need someone to make them some buckeye candy.
Benny the Beaver is the mascot at Oregon State University.
Buc-ee's has 120 gas pumps at most of their stores.
I got gas there a few months ago and my pump number was 242 😝
Buc-ee’s have anywhere from 80-120 fuel pumps at their locations to give you an idea of just how big this gas station is! Texas staple here. 🙌🏼
Ollie will be happy to know that Buc-ee is no dummy. I was at the location in Temple, Texas a few weeks ago and there were about twenty Tesla chargers along one side of the parking lot.
Juno is Ollie’s daughter. There are several videos of her trying American cookies, cereal, etc. on their channel.
They should react to those videos
Juno in Korea was a great series. She is so adorable and sweet.
There is also a reaction to when she was born. So precious to see two childhood friends 'officially' entering adulthood when Ollie becomes a father and Josh becomes her godfather.
@@mcm0324 But don't forget, Ollie and Josh are actually married, long before Gabbie came along :D
@@LordLOC there gay?
There is a reason they did this at night. Because during the day the it is normally insanely pack with people. They also have some of the most clean bathrooms you will ever see. The only disappointment with the Jolly video is they only showed half of the store. The other half is just as amazing. You can find dog treats and gifts, lots of merchandise, and a ton of other random stuff.
I believe this was shot at the Buc-ees in New Braunfels, Texas, judging from the footage and the fact that this was shot during Jolly's trip to Austin, Texas, which is only about 45 miles north of New Braunfels. This particular Buc-ees has 120 gas pumps, and is the world's largest convenience store at 66,335 square feet.
I went to that Buc-ees multiple times when I lived in Austin and I did not know that!
Woohoo. Buc-ees! A regular for long trips in Texas. Quite a few are actually on the out-skirts of large towns or in smaller towns next to major Interstates. And yes, they are huge! They are building their largest to date right next to an existing one that I visit regularly when visiting my family in my hometown (3 hour trip). Their claim to the initial success was the usual convenience store, but -always- clean restrooms which is a must when traveling.
Buc-ees has expanded to Florida, Georgia, S.Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, and more states are coming. Buc-ees new stores will include electric charging stations for EVs as well, so Ollies fears can be put to rest, Buc-ees will stay in business regardless.
@@billyhndrsn4542 Seriously, you have to charge your car for at least 20+ mins sitting in a Buc-ees parking lot buying stuff.
One in Bama, Bunch in Florida and one about to be in Shreveport LA too
@@jamesphillips2529 2 in Alabama, one near Mobile and one near Huntsville (most recent)
@@chuckarmstrong5325 One just opened up last month near Auburn.
Those two are so funny. I just discovered them recently and really enjoy them. By the way, I have lived in Texas for over 40-years. Buc-ee's is a must stop on any road trip.
Gas station story: My son, granddaughter and I were sitting in a Rudy's Barbecue when she commented that it was weird that they had a gas station out front. I explained to her that they started as a gas station that served BBQ.
Buc-ee's is really something the first time you come across one. I'm outside of Boston and didn't even know of them until a business trip years ago and stopped in.
I acted like these two guy, the food was great (although you will grow to a house eating there often), and service as well. The number of pumps was shocking.
The beef jerky (teriyaki) I had was amazing.
These two Brit's that did this review are funny as heck and will subscribe to their channel as well.
My daughter learned about Buc-ees shortly after she moved to DFW. She had to drive to Austin and stopped at one for gas. She was hooked.
Outside of Texas, the closest to this is super truck stops. These are large facilities for big rigs. They include gas, diesel, more than one restaurant, food store, gifts, appliances for inside your vehicle, and showers.
They have THE BEST bathrooms!!! Seriously. They keep them cleaner than I do here at home.
This! A lot of gas station bathrooms are filthy. But Buc-ee's are HUGE and CLEAN!
Yay, so glad y'all did this! Buckee's is AWESOME especially on an all day road trip!
I live in the Houston are and when my husband and I go to Dallas/Fort Worth to visit grand kids. We stop at buckees to get the brisket sandwiches. They have in house chefs and their food is so good.
The cherry maple jerky is just ok, but the Bohemian Garlic jerky is TOPS.
Last I knew, you could request samples before you buy -- find out which ones you really like -- since unfortunately it is very expensive.
Bohemian is the BEST!!!
The sweet and spicy is great too!
When I was watching this, I was yelling to them not to buy cherry maple! I think it was the favorite of the guy behind the counter because he doesn't have any taste buds.
@@davidnielson9139 Actually, I find their jerky prices very reasonable, compared to similarly sized portions sold at other places.
The mascot for Ohio state is "Buckeyes". The gas station/ store is Buckees
The brisket is an absolute must! I can’t believe they didn’t try it 😮
I can understand why Millie thought Buc-ees was the Ohio State University Mascot because the Ohio State University Mascot is Brutus the Buckeye. Buckeyes and Buc-ees.
Buccee's is over 100 gas pumps.
There is a competing location ... Iowa 80 truck stop.
Funny, they just touched on the food selection. There is also a large drink selection and a clothing and gift section….and MORE!!! It’s stupid big! 😆
The Buc-ees in Auburn AL has 122 gas pumps. The store is absolutely amazing. The Bohemian Garlic jerky is the best and the cinnamon rolls are addicting. The Salted Caramel Beaver Nuts are spectacular. Make sure you visit one when you come over to the USA. Can’t wait to see your vlog on your visit to Buc-ees. Take care. Stay safe.
Actually, all Buc'ees stores have 80-120 gas pumps. Yours has 120. Roll Tide! lol I live near the largest Buc'ees, in New Braunfels TX, which also has 120 pumps. They are building a larger store in Luling TX scheduled for next year, but it, too, will only have 120 pumps. I wonder if there is some sort of limitation placed on them by the fuels industry or the safety industry or if that is just some arbitrary number they decided on? It's a lot of damned pumps, in any case.
@@PaulaLPope that is what I was told by someone at work. I have not counted each one so I am sorry to you all for misinformation. Please disregard my statement.
@paramcsar LOL well I wouldn't consider 2 pumps misinformation, necessarily. I was just making the point that 120 was the max number that any of their stores had. It surprises me that it has that many pumps there... is it near the college? I didn't think Auburn was that big. I don't make it a habit of going into enemy territory when I come back to AL to visit family.
Buc-ee's is the cleanest, safest stop on a long drive. It isn't in many states mainly Texas and I know Tennessee recently got one. You think they've got alot of gas pumps wait til Millie sees the ladies room- NO LINE, they have tons of stalls. Buc-ee's is a must on a road trip.
We have them in Alabama
Florida has a few
They are building one here in Mississippi
We are getting one in Wisconsin.
Georgia has 2 on interstate 75. One south of Atlanta and one north of Atlanta. Possibly getting 2 more to cover east and west of Atlanta on interstate 20.
I have a food dehydrator and I make a few pounds of deer jerky every year. I throw some in a baggie and take them with me when I go riding my bike or fishing or sitting by the fire. Beef jerky is lean meat that's been dehydrated to remove moisture and spice is added. It can be very salty though. It's expensive too but cheaper if you make it yourself.
I love Bucee's on the road from ATX to San Antonio. I won't lie, good food and snacks, but the perfect road-trip bathroom it's so clean.
Buc-ees is the gas station, and the largest one has over 100 pumps. Buckeyes are the Ohio State University teams.
And there are a lot of buc-ees gas stations all over Texas.
We literally will go here just as an outing. It’s that great! I always get the pulled pork sandwich, homemade muffin and the chocolate pudding cup. We will go on the way somewhere and stop again on the way back.
Buc-ee the Beaver. He just took command of that sausage on a stick. Jerky is smoked meat with your choice of seasoning. You can buy a dehydrator and make your own also.
I'm eating breakfast while this is on. I've already choked 4 times laughing at these two. They're funny.
The Buc-ee's here in New Braunfels has 128 pumps.
I have been to 6 different Buc-eez, and it never gets old. What they didn't cover is the large, clean bathrooms, a ton of home good, Buc-eez clothing, toys, the 40 ice coolers around the outside of the store, and best of all, the brisket
The is one in South Carolina and it’s insane how busy it is. Pro tip- they will let you sample the beef jerky to find the flavor you like
Kolaches in Texas are actually klobasnikis however, they have been referred to as Kolaches since the introduction of them from the Czech immigrants that made Texas their homes. The amount of German, Czech, and Polish integration into the history, and current culture of Texas really surprises people when they visit, or learn, about Texas culture and heritage.
When traveling home to Louisiana I always stop at the Buc-ees 's in Terrell, Texas. Good gas prices, food and a case of Lone Star Beer!
El Mirage, Arizona
Juno is ollies little girl, and bucees is basically a gas station chain in texas, the largest one has 114 gas pumps, the store takes about 45 minute to walk around inside to see everything, and everything is made in the building they were in, everything from the food to the different types of jerky
This place is amazing. It is different from any other gas station in the country. There are many of them, but the largest is in Texas. Everyone who visits Texas must go to it at least once. 😂
At our local bucees, there are 130 pumps. NOW, the largest buyers is being built in Sevierville Tennessee. It will have the most pumps so far. It will also have an arcade, go-karts and a water slide.
Buc-ee’s has expanded into Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee in recent years! We LOVE Buc-ee’s
I just went to my first Buc ees in Florida 3 days ago. It was enormous!!
For British people the best thing about Buc-ees is that the rest room stalls are British-style, with no spaces at the sides and only small spaces at the top and bottom. And they are always spotless and totally free.
I love Buc-ees! Fortunately, there are two about 30-45 minutes from where I live!!
Ive been to this bucees several times on road trips.
Love Buc-ees! Plenty of gas pumps (about 100+), clean bathrooms, and the best snacks! My kids like the fresh bbq sandwiches too
Kolaches are Czech. We have them because of the Czech settlers in Central Texas. They can have all sorts of fillings.
They have great roadside signs.
You two are better than anything on TV! What a hoot! Thanks!!
Mark 8:00. Wait! Are they equating "nugget" with testicles?! 😁 Chicken nuggets resemble gold nuggets in shape and color, and consequently, other food items that resemble chicken nuggets also get called nuggets! 😁
Juno is Ollie's (and his wife, Lizzie's) daughter
Buc-ee's is also known for having the cleanest bathrooms (water closets). Y'all will not be disappointed when you come to Texas just remember to set a few weeks aside for the visit and that still won't be enough time to see much.
Y'all need to find another video where people go to buc-ee's for the first time but during the day to see the selection of other foods they have during the day
The food and other stuff is great. But what I love about buc-ee's is that they have the cleanest bathrooms in the state. Which is great when you're taking road trips.
I live in Alabama and there is a Buc-ees 10 miles from me. I can only afford to go about every 3-4 months lol must try a Brisket sandwich the best!!!
Best laugh of the week, things will be perfect for when the baby comes. Being almost 70 and having a small family, I know it never gets perfect. Love watching you two and best wishes for your home, marriage and the new baby to be.
I was at two Buc-ee's places, one just outside Mobile, Alabama and another in Georgia around 90 miles south of Atlanta. Was there last year during a brutal summer heat wave, but enjoyed the place which resembled a small shopping mall with everything (fuel, food, camping and fishing equipment, clothing, souveneurs, etc.)
They are building the largest Buckees yet in Luling Texas 75,000 square feet over 120 gas pumps.
Buckeyes used to be Texas only, but in recent years has been expanding to other States
They are currently building a Buckees in Amarillo --- after seeing the Beeslies video now I can't wait till it's open -- eat your hearts out Beeslies I only live 56 miles from Amarillo
Buc-ee’s is a chain of gas stations/stores that started in Texas, mostly near main highways. The store has so much more that Jolly doesn’t show… clean bathrooms, art, home decor, clothing, outdoor gear. The location they went to has 120 gas pumps, 1000 parking spaces & 68,000 sq ft store. They have built/building a larger location in TN.
They didn't start out being super massive but each new store keeps getting bigger. I have been to a few, one with only 12, one with 56, one with 80 pumps, and two with 120.
Buc-ees is crazy. They have hundreds of gas pumps at their stations and hundreds of parking spaces for shoppers. The busiest one ive been to is in Georgia and it always has at least 500-1000 people there consistently at one time. Their brand of goodies are really good.
Mark 0:42. Howdy! 🤠 Ahem. We have both "potato crisps" and "potato chips" over here, and we know that because the packaging labels tell us as much. 😉 Granted, those who got most of their language skills from hearing mimicking speech tend not to notice the differences in the labels. Be that as it may, thus far, "Pringle's Brand" are the only ones that I've seen label their product as "crisps" and it helps that they have a definitive shape compared to those found in a typical bag of potato chips. (Yes, I'm aware of "Post Super Sugar Crisps" and "Post Golden Crisp"!But those are cold breakfast cereals!)
The largest Buc-ees is currently in Crossville Tennessee at 74000 square feet, that's about 6875 square meters and has 120 gas pumps.
However, there is a bigger one, 75000 square ft, that will be opening shortly in Luling Texas.
LOL -- Buc-ee's is the gas station in Texas and the South....The "Buckeye" is a type of chestnut native to the Ohio region, that the Shawnee called "hetuck," which translates to English as "buck eye," because when dry it resembles the eye of a deer - hence, Ohio is "The Buckeye State"......
Beef jerky is very lean, thinly cut, heavily seasoned, dried beef. It was meant to preserve the meat originally but has become a popular snack.
There are various sized gas stations. The bigger and more accommodating are the truck stops. Since the US is so large and we still need goods transported, we have stops with showers and restaurants. They sell everything you could need at the bigger stops.
Definitely a one off store. Smaller Buccees ones have 60-70 pumps. Big ones have over 100 pumps… probably more. Truly insane place. I love it though!
Bucee's now has almost 60 locations. Most are in Texas, but a few more are scattered across Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Kentucky.
They have really good brisket sandwiches too. They have a nice gift shop ,they have camping gear they have fan stuff for the state colleges, the main ones. It is way more than a gas station.
Buc-EE's is an experience! I'd seen the logo before, but didn't know what it was (about a year ago), and by chance we happened to get off an exit on I-95 to get gas in St Augustine, FL. Luckily, there was a Buc-EE's there, so we had to try it. You just don't get how massive it is until you see it in person. Now, I'll make an effort to stop at any Buc-EE's if it's on our route.
Currently, New Braunfels TX has the largest Buc-ees, but a larger store is being built in Luling TX, coming in 2024, both sporting 120 gas pumps. The New Braunfels store is 66,335sqft and the Luling store will be 75000sqft. The stores have spread outside of Texas now, but their origins and home will always be here.
Everything’s bigger in Texas lol! The usual is about 12 to 15 pumps pretty much anywhere and the convenience store is you know the size of 2 houses 3 stall restrooms is normal buc ees is a tourist destination.
Peeee caaaahhhhhn in the south if you say you want a peee can they will hand you a can to pee in lol. But other places say can
I’ve been to the South, but not Buc-ees. I think they are so big because they serve as rest stops for stuff you need, for those traveling the major highways. We have Britbox here, which requires a subscription. Love British shows my husband does also since he has British heritage. My Dad introduced me to the detective series, one in particular I can’t recall name. It was great. For every holiday and birthday and such, I would go to our local Barnes & Noble bookstore and get him the latest DVD out. Only way to watch it in those days. And he loved going there also to see what others he could pick up. A lovely memory built on a British detective series.
Ohio State is the Buckeyes which is a type of tree. Buccee is a beaver.
Beef jerky is thinly cut pieces of meat (several cuts work for making it like top round, bottom round, flank steak, skirt steak, etc.) then marinated and dehydrated. It's an early form of meat preservation and makes for a tasty, though chewy, snack.
Prior to Buc-ee's, there were numerous roadside stores, begun by descendants of German, Polish and Czech immigrants, with jerky and kolaches, etc. These were the things travels wanted with the clean restrooms and they made sure to provide them. You might want to look into the Painted Churches to get an idea of immigration into Texas in the 19th century.
Oh, and all Buc-ees have a minimum of 80 pumps. Some have up to 120.
The buc-ees ghost pepper jerkey is so hot yet so addictive. I cut it with scissors to quarter inch squares and it lights ones mouth on fire but one must have another piece. Last I checked it is $32/lb
I've been to the Buc-ees in Texas,Florida, and South Carolina. I love it!!
You will love Buc-ee's and many places in America. We have many regional places similar to this and they all have unique products of which many are amazingly good.
There’s one in St. Augustine Florida.
Groceries, Gas, & Gizmos
Ohio Buckeyes! I’m very impressed with Millie for partially understanding that reference lol
They just opened the largest one as of June 2023 near me in Sevierville tn. It’s over seventy-four thousand square feet with one hundred and forty gas pumps. Located at the foothills of the smoky mountains leading to Gatlinburg and places like Dollywood, it’s never going to be lacking business.
Buc-ees sounds like Buckeyes, so it stands to reason.
I like this setup! ☺
Here normal gas stations have 4 pumps on each side of the building. Each pump has a nozzle on each side so 16 is the maximum amount of cars that can use it at one time.
Buc-ees is a chain of petrol stations across a large part of the southern US, the most are in Texas. Always an entertaining place to stop when traveling.
We have a few of them in Florida, people love them. We have regular Buc-ee's Groupies!

To clarify what beef jerky is, Mollie
It's sliced beef that's been marinated and dried
The combination marinating and drying acts as a preservation of the beef slices and it dates back to the American old west
If i'm not mistaken, that gas station has over a hundred pumps. There's so many different types of jerky. If you don't like one, you just try another. Mark my word, there's gonna be one you will like. You just got to keep taste testing to find the one for you. My favorite jerky has Carolina Reaper in it, and that will
definitely get your attention in the flavor department...lol!😊
A regional convenience store chain in Pennsylvania (Wawa - kind of like a 7-11) routinely have up to 18+ pumps and is usually the lowest priced gas station around.
Josh and Olly went from Austin to the Rodeo in Houston, so I believe that is the Buc-ees on I-10 Katy freeway they stopped at outside of Houston/Katy
Two FYI
*Juno- Ollie's daughter
( age approximately 5 years, currently)
*Buc-ees- within the next month or so, the newest "WORLD'S BIGGEST GAS STATION" (for the next 3 or 4 months) will be opening in Sevierville, Tennessee & will have 120 petrol & electric charging dispensers.
7:59
That's right, James
Buc-ee's does make all of these food items in-house
I was surprised to find out there is a Buc-ee’s in Florence, South Carolina. It was a fun experience and definitely something you have to see in person. I loved the cookie dough bites as well as the brisket and the fudge. Definitely a stop I will make anytime I’m in that area!
I hope you do many more of the Jolly videos. The rodeo one and the deep fried foods videos are hilarious.
We stopped at Bucees in South Carolina on our way home from Florida to Virginia. It is amazing, especially the banana pudding. They have to have at least 35 gasoline and diesel pumps, probably more. They are building a Bucees in Virginia on I 64 on the way to Williamsburg.
Juno is Ollie's daughter and has been in a few of their videos. The treasure chest cake Ollie made for her birthday was incredible.
