Thanks, dude. Your solution fixed my error and made me gain back my peace of mind. I was already having palpitations about how much this would cost to fix or buy a new one. Uf!
Have the same exact E9, shut the fuse off but didn't help. Waited a few minutes also. A workaround I found is to start the top right and set it to anywhere from 1-9, before switching to bottom right. It works fine, but is not a sustainable solution. Anyone found out how to fix the E9 in any other ways?
The first thing I notice is your very dirty cooktop - however let's not dwell on that, a soapy washcloth will clean it up in no time . The problem you have occurs with other induction cooktops -its digital technology - every now & then its logic gets confused & will not work - a power reset is the solution - on my mains switchboard I have an easily accessible separate switch that feeds stove independent of oven independent of hot water service - I can flip the relevant switch to reset the appliance. It is not difficult just simply inconvenient when it happens. T The same problem occurs on my portable IKEA single hob induction cooktop where the lock/unlock function stops working temporarily.
