Thank you . Here in Pakistan we find raw sugar, called gur , which is basically evaporated sugar cane juice . Made by villagers by simply heating the juice . I'll try to make the molases from it using your technique. Egyptians use molases to make a spread called mofattaqa . There are many videos on RUclips showing how it is made and it is simply heavenly, way better than marmite.
I'd recommend trying molasses with tahini sauce; 2 Tbsp of molasses /w 1 Tbsp of Tahini. It's an Egyptian recipe which boosts your energy, and above all it's mouthwatering.
Thank you. Here in Boston, Massachusetts USA molasses was a staple when I grew up. We used molasses in everything. Molasses cookies were my favorite. Molasses in baked beans made Boston Baked Beans. A teaspoon of molasses in your hot black coffee on a freezing cold winter day (or night) was called 'fishermen's coffee'.
My great-grandfather had a reputation as the best molasses maker in his area of southern Mississippi. I was just curious about exactly what the process looked like. Thanks for the demonstration! (I just have to add in a mule-powered mill for extracting the cane juice and a big wood fire for boiling it up!)
Great idea, great video! Thank you from San Francisco, California's East Bay Area, USA! LOL, and first! God Bless all of us who work to make this world a *better* and *more loving* place, IJHN Amen.
It's a very good idea to make homemade brown sugar and I liked all the process of making it. Thanks for sharing, my dear. CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For me once it thickens before caramelization is good for most uses. To reduce energy usage could use big trays in the the sun, and boil as the last step to cook and sterilizing it.
Thats not molasses, that is brown sugar syrup. Molasses is the brown/black supstance that is in the brown sugar. It is extracted with another method and its full of minerals and complex sugars, its actually only 40% sugar
That is molasses. The process you’re talking about happens after it is bottled. It’ll have a layer of sugar crystals on top once it’s completely cooled.
Saw this and enjoyed your content. Pleasant to watch. Easy to follow. You should now know that 2 People, from California, USA have seen your video! And now will try this and use it when we make 🍪, next! Thank you for the video!
Thank you is a very small word to appreciate your efforts, it's a great video 🙂 I prefer homemade things as much as possible bcz of the adulteration in market bought foods. I always wondered if jaggery can be made at home bcz nowadays market bought jaggery is also full of adultrants, then my husband said you will make jaggery also at home if you even get a small clue about it😀. Thank you so much for this recipe 🙂❤️❤️, now i will surprise him with this recipe 😀
Market ko takkar maare aap aisi recipes bnate ho...plsss aap restaurant style cheese butter masala bi bna ke dikhaiye maine aapki baht sari varieties try ki haiii superb bnti haiii..
Would you please show KFC veh rice bowl recipe ? The gravy in that rice and the veg strips taste heavenly but there is not a single recipe on RUclips that is close to the original. Would you please try it ? I know that you'll be able to make it better than the original❤
Im sorry to say, but this is not molasses. From a simple google search: "Sugar cane is processed to extract the juice. This juice goes through several clarifying steps and then a reduction of water until sugar crystals form. These crystals are centrifuged out and are further processed to become white table sugar. The syrup remaining is molasses. It is slightly sweet that is rich is several minerals and at least one B vitamin - iron, calcium, magnesium selenium and B6." What you have made is the precursor to jaggery or Gur as its called in North India. Its called Bella in Karnataka
Around 2L or 67oz, can be juiced using two rolling wheels, just pass the sugarcane between two powered rolling wheels spinning in the opposite motion with some scales or design for better grip. The creator didn't reply so I did

Watching from Texas. What is the approximate amount of sugar cane? Also how are you juicing the sugar cane?
Around 2L or 67oz, can be juiced using two rolling wheels, just pass the sugarcane between two powered rolling wheels spinning in the opposite motion with some scales or design for better grip.
