    How about kindergarten?
How can we take admissions and is it funded by the govt?

Hi! Thanks for your comment. Yes, kindergarten is part of elementary education, and it is indeed funded by the government. Most provinces offer free full-day kindergarten for children starting at age 4 or 5.
To enroll your child in kindergarten, you typically need to register at your local school. You'll need to provide proof of your child's age (such as a birth certificate), proof of residency, and immunization records.

Hi. We got PR recently & will be moving to Canada with our toddler & infant in Oct! I wanted to ask about child benefit. When do we start receiving it? Some say it’ll be given after 1.5 years while some suggest to apply it once we reach canada.

Hi! Congratulations on getting your PR and your upcoming move to Canada. For the Canada Child Benefit (CCB), you can apply as soon as you arrive in Canada since you are a permanent resident. You don't have to wait until you've filed a year of income tax. Once your application is processed and approved, you'll start receiving the monthly payments.
If you are a temporary resident, you need to have lived in Canada for 18 months and have a valid permit in the 19th month to be eligible. But since you are on PR, you can apply as soon as you land.
