Fantastic! For over 30 years I have always considered Penetration Point to be one of the most underappreciated masterpieces of metal. Particularly the basslines on that album are so quirky and fun and adventurous that it never gets old - and as I said, I have literally been listening to it for over 30 years! ”Powerslam”, ”Sin Eater”, ”Horizertical” - so many gems on that album, especially for anyone who loves truly great bass playing!
@@evilevie87By the way, if you are looking for more stuff to play, here’s another masterpiece from 1989 with absolutely incredible bass playing: Voivod’s Nothingface. I would to love hear you play ”Pre-Ignition”, ”Into My Hypercube” or ”Sub-Effect”!
@tojan76 Into My Hypercube is my favorite track, if I were to do a song from that album, it'd be that one! That or "Tornado" from Killing Technology seem like the most fun songs of theirs to cover on bass
So many interesting and unexpected parts in this song. You keep introducing me to amazing bands I've never heard before! Also, I take back whatever I ever said against P basses in the past, you make them sound so good i'm starting to second guess my old opinions Good job, killer stuff as always 😎😈
Very well played Evil Evie. I love the range in the songs you choose. My only advice…………………….don’t listen to an idiots (like me) advice on RUclips lol. You are crushing it with the uploads, please keep doing what you do 🤘
😀! Awesome playing, Lady! Really impressive basslines. I too have made two Nasty Savage bass covers (one has been commented by their current bassist 😬), but of songs from their first album that are not as much technically difficult as this one you covered. I would not even try one like this! 😬 So congratulations once again! You are a very skilled bassist. Greetings!
@@sergiodambrosio363 Their current bassist is amazing! Such a great dude too. He's killing it with Nocturnus, as well. Your covers are fantastic, I appreciate your words a lot!
@evilevie87 Thank you! In truth most of the times my covers are not totally faithful to the originals (surely not as much as yours, and for that I admire your work very much!) because I tend to do my versions. hoping of course that the songs are still recognizable! 😆 Greetings!
I have to admit, that i had skipped and deleted that Band from my list from the get go. Must have been something with the vocals in the middle part of the song. Anyway, the Bass Lines are totally impressive, really crazy. Love those and there is nothing to complain about. Only because of Evie ofc.
Killer! Nasty Savage will be at the Hell's Heroes Festival in Houston this March!
another shredding bass play along!
Nice job. My buddy lived with Ben Meyer in Florida for a while in the 90s. R.I.P. Richard Bateman.
Can you do Stolas "losing wings"?
Sounds QUITE epic!

@@tojan76 Powerslam is definitely one of the best tracks on the album as far as bass goes! So fantastic. You're right, way overlooked.

@ Thinking of more recent Voivod - I bet you could do an absolutely killer version of ”Event Horizon”!
Very good! The prolonged David Lee Roth screaming was funny. Awesome cover!

Awesome Playing Once Again! What do you think of Pestilence - Testimony of the Ancients with Tony Choy on Bass I thought that was s Great Album! 🤘
Are you using your nails? I've never seen that. It's incredible either way.
@Schmopit Yes, I am! Thanks!
