Here in Michigan we can hunt coyotes all year day or night. I have a few pulsars and love night hunting, that’s all I do anymore. Like anything the more you do it the better you get at it. And knowing your equipment is a huge part of it. There is definitely a learning curve because finding buttons or doing anything in total darkness can be difficult to say the least. I think I’ve been more successful because coyotes are more active at night. Thanks for the podcast! I’m always trying to learn more and getting others thoughts and opinions gives me something to think about

In the area I hunt I use strictly coyote vocals in the last three years of hunting (30-40 coyotes) I have call 1 in with prey distress. But the thing I have a hard time getting information on is how fast are you switching from one sound to the next. My typical stand is usually 20 25 minutes and I feel like I might be waiting too long between sounds.

What equipment should a beginner in coyote hunting get. I currently have a 22-250 and a swagger bipod, what else?
