    Thanks for this video. I've wanted to do a garden my entire life! And we just bought our first home and it had a overgrown flower bed. A friend bought me some vincas, and I put them out. But after seeing your video, i see that I've placed them too close. I'll spread them out tomorrow.

    Seems like a waste to throw them away......lol I would be grabbing them and taking them...I don't like wasting.

      Yes, I overwintered some potted pansies in my garage. I just cut them back and packed leaves all around them . They grew back fine after placing them outside in March. They like cool temps.

    Why didnt you just donate the plants to garden clubs

      It was the end of the season for those plants. Within a month or so they would have been killed by frost. The reason you pull them up when they are looking great is so the new plants can get established before the cold comes.
