I'm not a religious man at all but, I always have time to hear this woman. As a victim of child sexual abuse I can say that Rachael carries perhaps the most important education and strategies for understanding and responding to the plight of sexual abuse, especially with child sexual abuse. Although I wish we had a Rachael Denhollander back in my childhood, we are extremely fortunate to have people like this now who passionately and sacrificially give of themselves to position us in a far better place for approaching this issue. I get to get up for work everyday and work side by side with some of the most formidable engineers and scientist developing and furthering the life saving defibrillators and ventilators that serve to save lives but, I'm convinced that the ongoing education in the dynamics of sexual abuse is by far the most important and relevant education that we can receive as a society and of course, personally. it not only will save lives but just as importantly, will help to save living souls.
