I have always made content throughout my professional career, however, it has always been for someone else. In May 2020 I decided that it was time to create something for myself. Football Manager has always been a game that I have loved so wanted to take this opportunity to share some of the tips and tricks that I've learnt!

thanks for making the video. I really wanted to try out a 3 back system on FM for a while. Would this work for a newly promoted team for the prem? or does it need elite players to make it work?
You'll be fine aslong as you are able to strengthen a bit but that's the same wjth any tactic. Expect a slow start while new signings settle in ans the players become familiar wjth the tactic but don't panic and change things
Id say so, just make sure your players are training their roles and you will be fine

that is a great fit with the way Xabi is playing. I know he plays with AM rather than wingers but that squad is def built for this!
Says 'file could not be imported' when I try to load the tactic after downloading. Any ideas?

These tactics undoubtedly work in the match engine. However I always prefer to have less intense tactics when I make my own I have a challenge for gyr to make a less intense tactic that is as effective as these ones. I dunno if you have seen the rdf video where he built a 4231 using barely any team instructions instead focusing on player instructions to execute his game plan with maximum control of all his players. It was really interesting and the tactic was great I won the champions League in my 3rd season with Leeds, that includes one season in the championship obviously. First season in the prem I came 4th then next season I came 3rd and won the champions League. That tactic is also around just over half way on the intensity bar which is great for a season of 4 competitions. The tactics are great by the way as are the videos I just thought it might be an interesting challenge for GYR.

Hi mate, I love your videos but i new in the game and I don't know how to create good tactics, could you create a tactic with the 4-1-2-1-2 formation in diamond?
I can look at bringing back a jack of diamonds for this years game
great tactic, used it in my Man city save, went unbeaten in PL and won CL 7-0 against AC milan
City are a top team bet it was fun with their attacking talent

Noticed GYR doesnt use the Pass Into Space much this year. Was the same with the 433 Thanos (an elite tactic by the way 👊). Any reason for this? I turned it on for the Thanos one and it worked well (I think, but I'm not sure). Also, this is stretched super wiiiiiiide! Willl the IFs even reach the penalty area? Gonna try it now.
Works well wide with the 3cbs. I test pass into space and doesn't seem to perform as well. Wastes possession creating less quality chances imo alot of the time

Josh Daly trying to get people to sign up to his patreon for console "variants" of tactics he posts. I pointed out that the match engines identical so the tactic he has posted would work exactly the same.
I think that’s a bit harsh. You can switch our certain roles to get a slightly more offensive and defensive options whilst sticking in the same shape

No reason why not. It is defensively compact with the players back but they are keen to get forward so has a good balance.

100% does just make you copy down all the instructions for players and team like Steve says

@@GYRFM man United mate I’m 11 seasons in got a powerful squad one thing I did after 2 seasons was swap the dm for a am and I’ve been killing teams with some crazy score lines probably helped by my team being pretty overpowered. Was conceding plenty of chances at first but once it all clicked I got 158 goals in PL on season 3 of the tactic its sensational
