The US does not play about their boats
Past tense ! Sad to say
Past tense ! Sad to say 😢
From 1981 to ‘88 anyway
That’s exactly how homeowners should have the right to react to squatters. Same right for everybody.
Why not just call the police and have them removed?
@@AmericanMilitaryNetworkcops cant do anything in most states as long as the squatter claims they ever paid rent. It becomes a civil matter and can take months and thousands of dollars to get an eviction authorization.
Non sequitur, anyone?
Except in this case it was the American ships who where squatting in the Persian Gulf,🤔
@@SohrabKafshhayam-pr7pk except thats not how “squatting” works because most of the persian gulf is equivalent to the road next to your house and not your house. Theres nothing wrong with us ships transiting in international waters.
But..the unlike the battles of WWII the US stopped short of total victory.
And things got worse.
,
Yeah that's been happening ever since WW2. Politicians shouldn't let the dogs loose if they're not willing to win.
Next war: Try Not To Hit America's Boats Challenge
I never knew about this. Very cool!
Glad you enjoyed it. I remember it well.
i wonder if iran ever gets asked "remember when we sunk your navy with minimal effort?" when ever they start effing around in the persian gulf again?
No kidding.
Unless you're Israel....cough cough.. uss liberty... cough cough
Yeah that's true. I did a video on the Liberty but it got taken down. It was not opinionated only fact based with crew interviews .
@@AmericanMilitaryNetwork Google has links to Israel. They protect Israel.
I wonder how many people even know about the uss liberty
That there is what is known as a "proportional reaponse".
10000% justified.
Yeah thats how Regan described it.
The Fat Electrician did a great review of same story and naval Op

Don't touch the boats. Ever.
So the US stumbled into a mine, sounds like a skill issue.
Japan knows all about touching the US boats
Meanwhile the Houthis send a US carrier back to port for repairs.
Don't touch our boats!!
They attacked an oil platform? I wonder what the real story is.
Ask Japan about touching our boats ..... it seems the United States forgot how to deal with the enemy lately 😳🇺🇲💪
Yeah we hate that shit.
USN helicopter, Aviator, off the USS Merrill, during this operation. A lot went down in a few days and it covered hundreds of miles all up and down the Persian Gulf. My hat is off to the primary planning officer for Surface Action Group Bravo, (and his staff) Captain Perkins. So you know, other operations that were planned for were called off. The reason is, the Iraq i's launched a major operation against Iranians on the Fao Peninsula. Thousands died. This is little known by most US Navy personnel who were a part of Operation Praying Mantis. The Iranians were reported to be going crazy: assuming that it was a coordinated general attack.
I'm not sure how accurate it is, but Wikipedia says that Iran lost 5 ships, 3 of them being small speedboats. If America wiped out half of Iran's navy, would that mean that Iran's total navy in 1988 was compromised of 10 ships? Even Nicaragua has a bigger navy. I think the title is overreaching...
Iranian warship?
Iranian boat ?
The USS Simpson was my old ship stationed in Newport, RI in 1992. I met my wife there. We are still married.
Awesome. Congratulations!
From a sailor who was there onboard the Simpson, you have some misinformation about the Simpson and Joshan engagement.
What's incorrect?
It really hits different when you actually experience an event or even watch it live, compared to watching or reading about it in a historical context.
Is this TRUE???
Yes.
❤😂😂🎉🎉😢😢😮😅
That was before 25 years of wokeness & bad advances based on sex & race…
Well, currently at this moment the same thing is occurring to Yemen. So IDK about all that. I'm a retired sailor.

Ronald Reagan, greatest President in US history
We need Reagan back
That was when we had a great president. I served under President Reagan.
Trump 2024 🇺🇸
Something Joe Biden would never do
You don’t know that, but what we know is that Trump could be bought to not do it.
It was nice having a president with balls and common sense. We need that again in 2024. Go Trump.
Never thought I’d say this but TRUMP 2024- It’s come to this
