It really bugs me these parents use fear and stress with their defence being that if you don’t give kids consequences they will grow up troubled because they don’t know any better. However, they refuse to mention the fact that kids only know what they are taught, so the idea they don’t understand the consequences of their actions is completely the parents fault. Because of just how they talk and treat the teens I think they are probably the worst type of parents… narcissists! Parents that pretend they care, but in reality it’s all about tripping their own ego as they make their children miserable and submissive. It’s no wonder this episode took so long to be posted on RUclips considering these parents are garbage.
It doesn’t even help because all they’re teaching their straight edge kids is either to be sneaky, or to be walked all over in adulthood. When kids don’t have any control their parent list gets replaced with their boss and they follow orders to a T even when they’re being taken advantage of..this video is so old so I wonder how their kids are now but there’s no development of self confidence or control.

Why wouldn’t the parents dust their rooms before having them stay?? That’s kind of gross…. Did they let it build up that much just so when the kids didn’t dust properly (as I assume they’d expect) there would be enough dust for the father to run his finger over & reveal the extent of it.
I understand the parents don’t want the kids to be smoking but half of these families don’t seem to understand that going cold turkey with no preparation or warning for these kids is hard-

THings like parents dying or divorce can often create these situations.
